Tessa is a good analogue of the Joker, for Nicodemus I'd go for Emperor Palpatine more. Long time planning/schemer and all that.

Or Lex Luthor.

DF Reference Collection / Re: Dresden Files Purity 2.0

You have the rank of
Winter Lady
Your total Dresden Files purity rating is 70.4%
All scores:
Supernatural Power:86.6%
Social Skills:69.7%
Armed Combat:54.6%
Unarmed Combat:52.6%

That's gone up in the last month. I wonder why.

DFRPG / Re: How different is Britain as a setting for the Dresden Files?

Rick Neal is one of the best DFRPG DMs I have read, blog-wise, and he does settings outside of the US. Check his blog: http://www.rickneal.ca/.  Or ask him questions...he's a nice fellow. :)

She was the one who nearly killed Michael. AND she preceded the act by blowing a kiss at Harry.

I hate that b**ch.

Author Craft / Re: Going to DragonCon next week?

I'm hoping to go for a day (probably coming down Friday, hanging with people outside the Con, and attending the Con proper Saturday). Not really sure yet.

Does make me wonder if I met any of you at D*C last year via Shannon and Jim.

Yup.  Probably for the next year, actually.

Hopefully for Jim AND Shannon. Good lord, those two travel.

YOU ROCK SO HARD.  Thank you so much for doing this!  *hugs*

Some notes/clarifications/tweaks...

Hey, I entered these clarifications/tweaks. I still like "Harry's not bald." But I changed it. :) Thanks so much for reviewing it for me!

"and the forums explode" was in fact me  ;D

And I was pretty sure of THAT too, due to proximity to the mike.

I will go make adjustments anon.

I don't follow the logic that says they have the best "everything", but they are the second best product of the year.

That was my point too, but, well, I'm kinda biased.

I thought it felt like giving best actor, actress, director and script to one movie and then best picture to another.

You guys rock. :)

That settles it - you ARE one of us.

I suddenly feel like a Pod Person.  But in a good way!

This was every category that the game was nominated in. More or less, they swept the Ennies.

I could not be happier for some of the nicest people around. WOOOOOOOT.

Bang-up job! I just wish I didn't have so many off-the-cuff wisess comments that made it into the record.  ::)

Heh. I thought several of those were yours!

I ducked in and corrected some formatting. (I used to be a technical writer and I'm kinda anal-retentive where that stuff goes. SO SUE ME.)
