Marcone has a deal with the federal government agencies.


That's the theory. So I wrote this theory on the board during one of the lull's between book's thought I'd post it again given recent events in Battleground.

The Mob working with FBI and CIA isn't without precedent notably during WW2, but also during the Cuban Revolution. Various Don's and Bosses have worked as informants for extended periods of time in exchange for protection from prosecution.

Marcone making a deal with Namshiel would be a similar basis deal, but as far as human factions are concerned Marcone is the only normal human at the table of  the Accords. Something which the government or human factions would want intelligence on, as well as the fact from their perspective just a normal yet capable human having a seat at the table.

Marcone confirms he has a lot of power in local governance of Chicago, at the Accords sit down at the end, but I doubt he'd 'just settle for the title' as he would put it. If you were an FBI or CIA who would have an understanding of the Mob but not necessarily the Supernatural, well the devil you know.

I swear the Librarians were mentioned in one of the RPG material source books but can't seem to find any references to them.

There was that moment just a subtle tap that made Ferro hesitate and stop, then once the Titan came the Titan was more respectful to Vadderung than she was to Ferro who was basically her puppet.

Given how powerful Ferro is there's also the limitation of that power. Ferro was rather limited in not being about to help the Accords or the new Anti-Titan League, because he could crack reality with his presence

Vadderung has more choice because he's mortal he can directly help.

In that moment that tap of warning and respect stalemated Ferro.

So my crack theory is that the last time a Winter Knight and a Knight of the Cross worked together was Gilles de Rois (confirmed Winter Knight) and Joan of Arc.

Also of note Drakul and Dracula were running around at this point.

So in terms of wars in history. Saladin was a Knight of the Cross, Ebenezar, LTW and The Merlin were involved in the Seven Years War. Simon Pietrovich caused/ was involved in the Russian Revolution. We know WW1 was Kemmler, his disciples and allies, We know Klaus the Toymaker fought Nazi's in WW2 and that Luccio doubted how evil Nazi's were, Necro Bob had a defence set up reminiscent of the Nazi's, Kemmlers was killed in the 60s by an all out White Council attack, It's implied both Michael and Marcone were in Vietnam.

Jim has understandably stayed away from 9/11, as much as possible but it's known White Council has a strict policy of not getting involved.
