I do not see why the virgin thing would be such a big problem for Lara. As winter lady she could probably rip the life out of someone by blowing them a kiss.

Maybe that was what you meant, but that night also had the bonus of there being allmost no one who had to be saved from their own evil. Allmost like shooting zombies.

My guess would be that the mantle of the winter knight is also at its weakest at mid summer. Why would it be different that the queen's in this way?

The the knight interference also points to the denarians in some way.

Killing a mortal is of course quite a bit further than what Morgan did (pushing him in his apartment), but things are also more desperate now. Could it be the Merlin?

I have always thought that the series would end with the apocalypse and it would seam strange to collect einherjargen to be ready for it and not use them all when it comes. If all the einherjargen are coming out to fight or would be odd if Harry and Murph did not meet. I think it fair not to state ...unless the apocalypse comes as an exception to every statement :-D

And I would not find someone coming back to fight in the apocalypse making death meaningless in The Dresdenverse
