Happy to report I already have a new gig lined up that starts Monday!
It's for way less than the previous gig but its money and a good foot in the door for a good company.

Sadly back on the job market, apparently someone in management decided they didn't want me there and ended
my contract the night of my 4th day of training. No fucking clue why and not expecting to get any response back on
a request for an in-depth explanation.
Beyond frustrated at this point, had pinned a lot of hopes on that gig and its all out the door now...been applying for
other stuff but the motivation is just not effing there anymore...8P

Hullo all, got all of the final confirmation bits taken care of I am officially starting my new Job as of Monday, nothing getting in the way now!
As long as my leg(s) hold out, Had 2 MRI's done for the pains I'm getting in my right leg' 1st was late last night and 2nd stupid early this morning.
Dunno when I'll here anything back but hopefully it will help me figure out what's wrong.
Of course once I get my first paycheck I can stop the driving for money, which I think has caused a large part of the problem.

Its advice I've received many times and am frankly a little tired of receiving.
I am perfectly aware of what my resume looks like and I know it has cost me jobs in the past.
But appearances aren't everything and their are extenuating circumstances that the resume doesn't list;
some of those jobs were contracts that ended or in other cases I was unhappy with the work usually do to lack of advancement
or the work was fricking miserable. What sane person wants to stay in a position that pays poorly, has no room for growth and
is driving you to drink? My most recent job I lost due in large part to medical issues.
As part of my interview for the position I straight up explained things with all honesty as I believe honesty is the best policy
especially since last time around I was denied the position due to "Worries I'd be Bored". In the end it got me the job.
Long story short; I have been trying to get into this coming for a number of years as everything i heard nothing but good things about
working there, tons of advancement opportunities, great pay and so on. In short I have found a company to call "Home" for what I hope
will b a longer and happier career.

Got the Job I wanted! company I've been trying to get into for several years now.
Great Pay ($16/hr + $500 monthly bonus) and located relatively close to where I currently live!
Temp-to-Hire But i should still get benefits via the Temp agency. Doesn't start til Feb 11th but I
should be able to survive until that first paycheck!

Yeah that about sums it up RSL...lol
Welcome Back!
I've also got lines on 2 other potential jobs, either of which I would take over the one I have (that has not yet started),
mainly because they pay more ($2.50 to $5.50 more!) but at least 1 is at a company I've actually been trying to get into for a
few years because I've heard great things about working there and its growing rapidly so plenty of advancement opportunities.
So here's hoping for even better news soon!

In good news I have a job, doesn't start until 2/11.
Bad news it wasn't the job I wanted and pay is $2.50 less and it s a good 25-30 minute drive to get to it.
But I have a phone interview this afternoon for a different Job at a company I've been wanting to work at for a few years now.
Pay is better and it's maybe 15 minutes from where I live now.

In the meantime I've been doing deliveries for a local company called "Favor", mostly restaurant runs for lazy people and/or people
who just do not want to fight local traffic (Which is fairly bad especially at beginning and end of day). Unfortunately it means I've put
nearly 900 mile son my car since I started it and the leg I broke last year seems to not have healed fully and all the driving seems to
have over-stressed it so I've had to cut back on the driving, which means less money.

Humorously I am apparently one of the more prolific drivers and have been invited to the local HQ to do a video interview and learn
a little more about the company. Also humorously this is the same company where I've applied twice for 2 different internal, non-driving
positions and gotten rejected without even an interview....8P

Still, despite everything I've been through recently, I am still here and alive...8)

Sadly no good news, I was denied again for unemployment. I've appealed it again on the grounds that though the separation reason
was valid that the incidents were unintentional and should not be cause for denying unemployment.
still no job, one in-person interview with no follow up.
Doing some running for a local company called "Favor" which is basically deliveries for food from local restaurants. Pay is not great but its better
than nothing.
Also had a return of my eye virus so long-term driving is difficult and will likely affect my job options.
Going to be looking into some seasonal stuff soon just so I can get through the month...8P
I hate this time of year but hope everybody else has a better holiday time!

maen y'all, still alive...for now
Finally got out of the no return calls drought for the job hunt, 3 interviews this week, with a potential for 2 more.
Today is the most important day as its the Hearing for my Unemployment appeal and I need it to go in my favor cause then
I could survive a bit longer even with no job. If I could get a job as well that would be aces.
So hoping for the best..bracing for the worst...
