I'm hoping that if I can survive to 2019 that I'll be done with my body
self-destructing on me...8P

Maen y'all, sorry I haven't been around much but medical concerns have
been super-distracting of late.
On top of the still-healing leg and ongoing eye issues I manage to break a tooth vertically.
So had to go to the Dentist yesterday and have it extracted. It had to come out in a bunch of pieces which as it turns out was WAY less painful than having a whole tooth pulled out!).
Swelling is mostly gone and the bleeding has stopped so that should be a quick recovery.
Speaking of eye issue, saw my eye doctor and got the latest round of crap cleaned out
and discussed the next stage of treatment; squirting my own blood into my eye...
Sounds gross but what it entails is me getting six vials of blood drawn, taking it to a special pharmacy here in town where the spin it down and extra the serum/plasma. That is put into droppers (presumably with other material) and I have to use that 5 times a day for pretty much
the rest of my life barring coming up with some way to cure it permanently.
The only really bad part is that its probably a fairly expensive treatment...8P

*tiredwaves*
Just finished reading the "Godzilla; Rulers of Earth" Comic book series, really well done and fun to read through. Good job at bringing in ALL of the Monsters and tying them together in cool and interesting ways.

Recreation Time.

Ironically though I live in Texas the best BBQ I've ever eaten was at a Tennesse-style joint
in Las Vegas. Granted it was run by a 3 time World BBQ Champion but still it was DAMN good...
just wish I could recall the name of the place...8P

WELL DONE??? Get OUT you meat-heathen!
...kidding, I'm not super-picky about rarity. I don't like bloody rare but more of a medium rare.
At least for thicker steaks. For thinner steaks it just cooks until its Delicious.

There are seriously SO many different varieties of BBQ in the states it's kinda silly.
I kinda want to do one of those TV shows where I travel around eating delicious food and commenting on it and its origins, but focus it only on BBQ and hit every hole-in-the-walll BBQ place I can find in the US...be at least twenty years of show material there...8D

I mean I MIGHT be able to afford a one-way ticket but then you run the risk of me camping out on your couch forever...or spare bedroom, whatever you have...hrmmm that could work, wonder how expensive it is to ship books to Argentina...8D

Eye wash is semi-helping. Doesn't hurt as bad but is more consistent soooo....eh?
But we got assigned "chores" and since mine were cleaning the kitchen and downstairs
so I went on a spree and cleaned up almost everything. See if it helps.
So far not much chance but only partially because I got almost no sleep last night for some reason...maybe too many endorphins from the sudden burst of exercise...?

I've got a new solution (literally) that will hopefully help.
I've been covering my eyes at night as much as possible but the cloth I uses dries out
and becomes nigh-useless after awhile.
But I picked up a bottle of eyewash solution that has a little oval cup I fill with solution,
apply to eye and tilt head back with eye open to swish the solution around. Hopefully
it will help in the long run.

I was okay by the end of the day so made it home.
Overall was a terrible day of dealing with stabbing pain in my right eye.
This was not actually caused by the surgery, that was a week ago Monday and the pain
from that has thankfully subsided.
What's going on is one of two forms of something called Keratitis. Herpetic and Filamentary.
Currently its filamentary which is strands of decomposed epithelial cells and mucus that build up little nodules under my eyelids, scratching and inflaming the eye and cornea.
It feels basically like having nearly microscopic strands of barbed wire under my eyelids.
Its apparently a result of a heavy case of dry-eye syndrome and some days are better than others like so far today has been okay so far but yesterday was goad-awful. As long as i can consciously remember to keep my fingers away form my eyes...unfortunately its the unconscious bits that cause me trouble...8P
