Just a suggestion. Right now I can't see any place to fit in a topic for the discussion of the monster hunt international short Jim Butcher did other than in the bar.
So a suggestion is to have  a subforum that is for all the books/stories Jim has written before they get a subforum of their own.

DF Spoilers / Ivy/The Archive and digital information
« on: September 07, 2017, 07:55:56 AM »
In the latest Q&A I saw. Someone asked Jim Butcher if Ivy was receiving digital information as well.
The answer was that yes she is and that she wasn't built for it.
Also that we will see the repercussions of it.

So what do you think will happen with Ivy/The Archive due to this?

Note the plural.

But I found an google interview of Jim Butcher where he talks about the aeronaut's windlass, (also some dresden files at the end);

I was reading Karen Millers livejournal and stumbled across this post:

Which brings us to this good news, that Angry Robot is about to hold an open door manuscript submission event, for new and/or unagented writers. No, Angry Robot is not my publisher. But I think this is a great idea so I'm letting you know.

(It started on 1st March and ends on 31st March so not much time left though)

DFRPG / Buying RPG books for entertainment
« on: January 19, 2011, 11:54:38 AM »
Hmm, I think this is the right place to post.

A simple question, is it worth it buying the RPG books just to read them?

(I might be interested in trying out RPG but I don't know any people who would be interested too)

Darkest Hours / Just read it Darkest Hours Spoilers
« on: October 08, 2010, 01:47:55 PM »
I got the book this week and finished reading it last week.

I enjoyed it, thankfully I also know enough about spiderman and his enemies so it was even more enjoying.

I really liked the conversation with Rhino and him saying things that would have been stupid and MJ barely avoiding laughing out loud.

Also nice fight and fun with MJ crashing the car into one of the Ancients.

Also liked when Doctor strange asked, where are my agate stones or something like that.

All in all I don't regret buying the book.

Oh, I might ask this, is any of the references in the book told somewhere, like spiderman sharing an hot dog with Loki or spending time with Thor or so.

Site Suggestions & Support / Splitting gone wrong? The CAW-threads
« on: May 15, 2009, 08:42:49 AM »
The corrupt a wish thread part 5 is only 2 pages long:
http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,9653.10.html

while part 6 is almost 80 pages long:
http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,10411.0.html

I suspect a splitting accident.
