I think it was this one but I think one of the interesting things Jim said was that "Kringle is what Odin does so he doesn't die of old age"

I also like this

Oh, they didn't wind up on Mab's shit list.

They wound up on the Custodian's shit list.

And yeah, obviously, we're going to use them more later. I'm too lazy to spend energy to build things I won't use. :D

That was in reply to this

First, thank you for creating such amazing stories. I was lucky enough to discover Storm Front a few months after it was released and I've been laughing, crying, and throwing my book across the room ever since. I can't wait for Brief Cases and the new Zoo story!

The question I'm hoping you'll answer:

Will we ever learn more about the frozen prisoners in Arctis Tor?

The Byzantine lovers, the cardinal, the spider (who I think is Arachne), and the three women? I'm fascinated about who they were, how the ended up on Mab's shit list (if that's why they're there), and if they'll ever be freed.

Thanks again!

I am curious as to where these came from, also.  I mean, facebook, ok, sure.  But why a screenshot and not a link?

I know two facebook groups that jim has posted in(but I don't know which group the screenshot is from):
Jim Butcher Appreciation Society
Jim Butcher Idolization Tribe

DF Spoilers / Re: "Conjure by it at your own risk."

It does seem odd to me that he would use the word "conjure" specifically, which, to me, indicates that Harry could be summoned in some fashion (assuming the D&D school of conjuration magic terminology applies).

I don't think you can conjure mortals.
Actually we have WOJ that Harry will be summoned in one of the books just like that. It might be the Mirror Mirror book.

Just a suggestion. Right now I can't see any place to fit in a topic for the discussion of the monster hunt international short Jim Butcher did other than in the bar.
So a suggestion is to have  a subforum that is for all the books/stories Jim has written before they get a subforum of their own.

DF Spoilers / Ivy/The Archive and digital information
« on: September 07, 2017, 07:55:56 AM »
In the latest Q&A I saw. Someone asked Jim Butcher if Ivy was receiving digital information as well.
The answer was that yes she is and that she wasn't built for it.
Also that we will see the repercussions of it.

So what do you think will happen with Ivy/The Archive due to this?

DF Books / Re: with jb's mixing of all kinds of mythologies

If I remember correctly it was either in small favor or summer knight that Harry was chased by elves from Summer that had bow and arrows.

In one of his latest videos Jim talks about how the council might view/views Harry Dresden what I remember is that he mentioned Paranet like a spy network, that real wizards can't read since it's on the internet and that's very suspicous.
