My question is if mab removed the outsider from Lea how did it get into Maeve and cat sith. If it can jump around like that why stay in Justine after it's cover was blown. If the corruption lasts after it leaves why stay in a chick with no powers. And if they can be caught and contained why just kill Maeve why not try to get the outsider as well. Also is cat sith on ice if so why not say 11. Wouldn't saying 12 when it was 11 be a lie

Honestly my questions about what people see when they soul gaze Harry all are around why members of the Sr council haven't done it. When Harry had to watch that kid get his cut off I thought merlin said that both him and Morgan soul gazed him. Why did no one do it at Harry's trial especially Morgan and if they did why didn't it change their opinion of him. Has what people see changed? Susan fainted but that cop in battle ground acted like Harry wasn't there to hurt him but he didn't want to be in the same state as him not thank God he is pointed at the monsters. And most of all what did the kraken see and why doesn't Harry brag about it making it flinch

I think you guys are reading too much into the words and not enough into the scene. Laura is used to everyone in the room just flat out staring at her and here she is on an official date that she knows is being watched by multiple people and he won’t even look her in the face. She also knows for her to be respected by the whites she needs to clearly be the “dominant” one in the relationship, but she also knows Harry well enough that if she just flexes her mojo it will not play out well. So, what does she do? She plays the shy but observant girl asking a deeper question than he is used to similar to the way Lash approached him. She does this for a couple of reasons. First, she wants to soul gaze with Harry because she feels that she got more from Carlos than he got from her.  Second, she wants to see if Harry is put together enough to call her out for her bull shit. She sets up a future where the way forward is the gaze but seems like she respects his need for time while getting a temp for how observant he is currently. Regular hot girls can lie and be manipulative and she is the queen of the whites. I assume everything she says true or not is to get something she wants. And Jim can be writing it like that for all those reasons and as a way to explain it to the newbies

My Instagram feed has started showing me books that directly reference the dresden files it's like the dresden files with...... One was rise of the giants and the second was vigil's justice. The quote that got me to commit to dresden was it's like Buffy the vampire slayer if they cast Philip Marlowe. What I'm trying to figure out if my phone is listening and sending me books that I would like or my phone is listening and knows what to say to get me to buy a book or my phone is working with unscrupulous marketing companies (I understand the redundancy in that statement) to get me to buy their books. If anyone knows anything about these I would appreciate any info at least about claims

As far as Fitz goes my theory is if Will got an upgrade from being in that battle what would it do to a council level wizard who took in his first big bite of magic that night. If he wasn't worn out that means he took in let's call it wild magic and if at the end of the fight he took in a lot and then didn't use magic for a week or two. That could explain why he has such a broad range and extra large gas tank. Or he's a plant that will come back to ruin dresden's life in the future

I see it this way. If Molly knows what Harry is thinking because of the mantle then so does mab and on top of it she knows what Molly thinks Harry would do as well. She also knows that it's going to be a life for a life. Harry would never trade a baby or give up his brother so he would probably go to war by himself if necessary. But now mab has the white court, she repaired her problem with her weapons maker, she has a new outsider to interrogate and Harry Laura and Thomas all believing that if it wasn't for mab all 3 of them and the baby would have been dead. And on top of it Harry got mother winter to stop annoying mab about getting a better knight. But none of this could have happened if Harry didn't have to fix it to begin with. I could see mab giving it to him so she could put the pieces where they needed to be. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr sunshine didn't help her put it all together

I think the title tells you where the apprentice is coming from. It's 1 of his new in-laws. It's what makes the most sense. If the apprentice was straight human it would be a pissing match with the WC because Harry isn't part of the wc anymore. And you know that the merlin would make it a "public" complaint to Mab. But if it's part of the marriage process. To bring him into the family. Maybe (thought I don't think it is) Thomas's sister has talent and can't sit on the sidelines even though she didn't turn. That's the kind of thing Jim likes to do to Harry. It would give Harry something to feel guilty about how Thomas will react if he ever gets him back

With Harry not in the white council any more I doubt it's an apprentice like we are thinking. But between the members of the paranet and the regular people who join under his banner during the battle of Chicago I wouldn't be surprised if Harry has a lot of people training with him to various degrees. I feel like this might be a "best man" twisted by fae /winter situation. Probably someone Harry hates. Or it's marcone

As someone who spent a lot of time in catholic school. My understanding about the “rebellion” was that the angles were jealous of humans for their free will.  Now in the Dresdinverse I believe that translates to humans weren’t given something to do.
All power in the Dresden seems to come with attachment that feel and sound a lot like responsibilities. Mab has massive power but is forced/compelled to use it in a certain manner. And if this is scalable the more power the more responsibility comes with it. If the requirements of the Fae are any indication, and if you just want to live your best life, being an angel must kind of suck. 
The reason that they can’t repent and ask for forgiveness is that they are still pissed for the same reasons that they rebelled in the first place. On a topic for another thread, I believe that’s why Nicodemus works so well with fallen because together they get the freedom and the power with none of the attachments.
So for Lasciel who is told that not only was her shadow not able to tempt a black sheep wizard who has already killed with magic. Who seems to be doubling in power every year. Who signed up to me Mab’s slave/plaything. Who bonded with deamonreach because he needed power. That guy not only kept his humanity but changed her shadow so that it sacrificed itself for him and created an immensely being that Harry keeps in a carved wooden box and pretends that its daughter. And What if the shadow was offered the chance to return to the fold and got into heaven or at least joins Murphy’s dad in his little group.
If that didn’t have Lasciel in a rage I’m sure Nick reminds her of it every 20 minutes or so. Then he givers Lasciel to a traumatized girl that thinks that everyone is just using her for either sex or her power. I’m sure Lasciel has been talking about nothing but revenge since Hanna picked her up.

The more I look at the cover the more I get the feeling that Harry may have to do something drastic to release Thomas. Demonreach feels like the kind of jail that there was never a key to throw away. Other than his daughter and now his new niece/nephew who is there that Harry is willing to blow up the world and then roast marshmallows with. And who better than lash to help him do it

To me it looks almost underwater and as far as the symbol it looks more like a heart with Norse runes than a hourglass. If it was something to protect him from Laura that would make sense. Maybe a gift from Santa

I always figured that Harry was a direct descendant of merlin. We know that Ebenezer's journals go back to merlin what if the journals are passed though a family but wizards being wizards no one realizes that they were all related. We don't know who taught eb what if it was an estranged parent. Ebenezer had to learn it from someone and acts like it's the only way to protect his family
