I have always been confused about what exactly the Naagloshii are as a race. In the books, there have been references to the "Holy People" and how the Naagloshii were supposed to be messengers but fell away from their original purpose. So are the Naagloshii a form of fallen angels, or are they something older such as the spawn of an Old One?

I see the journals playing out one of 3 ways:
1) Harry gets the journals and learns all the information.
2) Someone/thing will prevent Harry from inheriting the journals
3) Harry gets the journals but can only read some of them due to language barriers
I see 1 being the least likely because Jim will probably want to torture us by dribbling out information instead of doing a big info dump. The journals are a source of free information (vs a trade), so someone wanting to limit Harry's power or gain it for their own might want to prevent Harry from getting the journals. I see 2 as being moderately likely. 3 is the most likely. By reading some, (probably Eb's) journals in English, Harry will gain some information and, after a book or two, read another set of them after finding a way to translate the text.

I don't think Arthur is a mantle. However, I do like the idea of the philosopher's stone being involved. We know that Mac is really good at brewing so maybe he is an alchemist.

« on: August 29, 2021, 05:22:54 PM »This is the core of one of my favorite Mac theories. The fae queens owed Arthur, even Morgana who had tried to kill him and destroy Camelot. So when he goes there, suffering a fatal abdomen wound, they are waiting to heal him. I find the parallel with Mac in CDs uncanny. Maeve pointing out the irony of it, Mab removing the bullet without any sort of deal towards it. Feel like it was preowed from his previous actions.(this doesn't unmake who ELSE he is, it's just his likely earthly identity. I'm totally down with him ALSO becoming or coming from angelic stock)
Are you saying that Mac is Arthur? If so how is he still alive?

I was recently thinking about Skin Game and the 5 artifacts/weapons in the vault. We know that each artifact is powerful, but why were all 5 together, and why were they in an armory? We know that Mab wanted Harry to get the artifacts to help her in the battle with the Outsiders but are they powerful enough to make that much of a large-scale difference? I'm wondering if the 5 artifacts can be used to summon The White God. During the BAT, when all hope seems lost, Harry will summon TWG to banish the Outsiders back beyond the Outergates, winning the battle. This could maybe also be interpreted as the Second Comming of Christ.

Personally, I think that it would be fun if Ivy is discovered as the Archive to either hide in plain sight or on some secluded mountain. In either case, she would leave some breadcrumb trail, and only the most worthy or smartest individuals would be able to find her and gain knowledge.

I don't think Gregor will show up again. I feel like it's one of those small details that Jim forgot about. However, it is a good point that a KoTC was sent to stop the killing. It could be that WTG knew Michael's path and wanted to give him someone to standby and support him. Kind of like the sang "Behind every great man is a greater woman." Charity is in many ways Michael's rock and strong point, and without her, maybe Michael would have given up the sword earlier, allowing for greater darkness to come into the world.

Does anyone have any theories about where Bob was during Harry's training with Eb or before? If I remember correctly, Harry took Bob from Justin's house after he killed Justin. However, where was Bob during Harry's trial or during Harry's time with Eb? Bob is known as a powerful and dangerous spirit, and there is no way either the Council or Eb would allow it to remain in Harry's possession. Harry must have hidden Bob from the council and Eb and regained him sometime after he left Eb. So the question remains where was Bob during those years?

I still believe that the marriage does have some positives for Harry. His sex drive has been something he has been fighting against for the last few books, and he (mostly) pushes it down. But using Lara, he can satisfy that drive, enabling him to think more clearly and live a better life.

It could be that no one actually witnessed Harry violating the Laws of Magic that was just used as a pretense to kick Harry out because the Council could no longer control him. Or that the Black Council/another faction wanted Harry out of the Council.

We know that Titania's main purpose is to protect the world from Mab, but what does she do on a day-to-day (or century to center) basis. We know that Mab spends her time plotting, gaining allegiances, and gaining power all to help at the Outer Gates, but what does Titania do? Because the Summer Court is so much smaller than the Winter Court, does she need to work that much harder to protect her people and all the mortals? Or, to keep the balance for every ally or ability that Mab gets, does Titania need to get an ally or ability of her own?
