Now that's embarrassing.
About as bad as an airline pilot landing at the wrong airport.

Not a written line but an actual one heard at a WorldCon.
"You just try doing that in a wool cape!"

No choice though...  A lot of unnecessary and redundant exposition in that first chapter... gotta dig the polish out of the turd.

Didn't the Mythbusters actually polish up a fecal matter ball?  ??? ???
(And NO - that was not a comment on PGs writing - his stuff will/would shine no matter
how much drek was on top of it!)

Hey Meg, how goes it with your YA?  Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.
More than glad to help.  I get these emails and I see no reason why I shouldn't
let the writer types on the Forum know about possible markets.
Wishing you and yours a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.
   (A published one too!)

Zioneer you might want to check out - "The Case of the Toxic Spelldump" by H. Turtledove.
Interesting use of different belief systems and how they get along...or don't.

If you're bringing or want to bring Jewish tales into this - there's always
the Golem - a man of clay brought to life by the sacred words.  That could take on
a whole new meaning blended with Native American beliefs and lud   ::) ::) - what coyote
could do with that kind of thing.

Also something to consider - like viruses gain strength when they jump species.
Combining belief systems could create some major baddies that might not respond to
dismissal rituals from either system.
