Well the Formor are an alliance of dark gods from various defeated pantheons so I;ve always thought that there would be some sort of Outsider link.

Steed was the one who delivered Luccios note to Harry. Luccio had effectively been neutralised.

Now also keep in mind Listens-to-wind was down for the count recovering in Edinbrough because of the plague that Duchess Arianna Ortega had unleashed.

Similarly Carlos was locked up, with Anastasia Luccio dealing with the political fall out.

The Merlin isn't a joiner given that the Grey Council was founded in part out of suspiscion of him, and if found out they would be declared enemies of the White Council.


SO who else do we think is on the Grey Council?

Chauncer aka Steed could be a member but I think he's a bit young for it.

Klaus the Toymaker might be a member but I suspect he's another identity of Vadderung/Kringle.

Other than that I struggle to come up with 6 wizards let alone prospective members powerful enough to take part in the Battle of Chitchzen Itza.

Guarding a Chinese Temple Garden

I've always assumed him to be the British Title, which is odd because he was in the Colonial Marines, a fact which Dresden points out and Stuart says it's a long tale.

Do you think we'll ever get the full story of how a Knight ended up fighting against the Red Coats in the Colonial Marines?

I recently noticed a mistake in Zoo Day, it isn't a big one, but shouldn't Maggie's primary language have been Spanish?  We see her thoughts, they are in English, and she never appears to experience language barrier, confusion, or to search for words.  She may even still have a Hispanic accent.

I mean, it is reasonable that she may have learned some English wherever she was, but it certainly wasn't the primary language she used.  She would only have had to start using English when she moved in with the Carpenters.  There has been no discussion of language/culture issues, which is easily explained in most books by Harry being totally unaware of them, even if they existed.  But in this book we have her viewpoint, and there doesn't appear to be any acculturation issues.

Just a thought.

She mentions she can still speak SPanish but it's like her Brain has to switch gears.

I'd be interested in meeting cu sith, sounds like he could be a rival of cat sith, in that deadly frenemies winter court kind of way.
