If they were inventing stuff, they'd have simply deleted one of the inventions to keep the story straight. It is real history that doesn't make sense.

Mary Magdalen doesn't get the 'woman of loose morals' shtick until the Middle Ages, so no.

Jesus' 4 brothers, and unknown number of sisters (minimum 2) are a serious option though.

 Grandsons of Jesus' brother Judas were taken to Rome by the Emperor Domitian, and then sent home.

 Eusebius of Caesarea's Ecclesiastical History records family members (referred to as Desposyni) as still being around when he was writing in the 4thC AD. Given how breeding works, we're probably all descended from them by now.

Harry describes himself as powerful but unsubtle, so the spell must be fairly straightforward. His arms moving in all directions will mean kinetic power in all directions: presumably whatever is needed for the block will be present. An attack against the block though is sending force *in* towards him; the opposite of what is required to block the next attack.

A somewhat more skilled practitioner would presumably set up the spell so that absorbing an attack from the front would be available to block an attack from behind; an even more skilled practitioner re-direct the force to do what you describe. But that sounds like something that is centuries in the future for Harry.

went looking, and yes it was a dragon, but there's a qualifier:
"The last time a dragon had been slain out here in the tangible, mortal world, it had been in a region called Tunguska"

So clearly Michael killed the Dragon somewhere in the NeverNever, which sort of makes sense. As a budding wizard, Charity could easily have ended up there, and been taken home for a snack.

Depends how much research Butcher has done. In medieval thought, an angel *is* an identity - the old "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin" was actually a complicated question regarding the nature of identity. The correct answer was "one of each form" - since an angel could not be defined by dimensions, their identity was based on Platonic Form.

I would think that the wizards would aim for their children to be born as starborn. Fairly safe guess that Harry's mother crunched the numbers, and probably chose precisely the right spot on the globe to give birth to exactly the right sky.

I suspect most of the council are starborn.

I like the idea that Butters, *a*doctor*, can effectively have a Scalpel of Faith.

This called also be used to save Justine's life: given how much of her life essence she's lost, I cannot currently see her surviving a pregnancy that kills half of all mothers (and remember that'll be including one night stands who've lost next to nothing). If Butters frees the kid from its phage though, all is well.

Presumably the reason children of white court vampires are rare is linked to the whole 'true love' thing: mother love could be fatal to the child, causing a miscarriage.

Peace Talks has a flaming ward circle, with we are told (i) massively increases the power of the spells cast in it, (ii) is highly erratic, and (iii) is considered close to Law Breaking by the Wardens.

My thought on how to rule this:
- while using the circle, the Wizard has Sponsored Magic[Fire]. If this drops his refresh below zero: tough, he's an NPC* until the circle is destroyed. However, the magic is correspondingly more powerful.
To reflect the erratic nature, I'd also say that each Circle is slightly different, granting a slightly different 'flavour' of Fire Magic. So initially the wizard isn't going to know what the circle is going to do. Of course, he could just maintain the Circle permanently - in which case he has Sponsored Magic[Fire] all the time, and there is no deed for the magic to be erratic.

*"Fire pretty, Tree Bad" as a new personality type would explain why the Wardens stomp on this.

negative armor would be very useful in numerous situations;frex one of the reasons for prison uniforms is to make it easier to find escapees.
