I watched a few more Andor episodes and they were amazing. I think you got the right idea, watching all the show together, instead of a long way between seasons, seems the best way to enjoy it and not missing this.  And I would end it with a rewatch of Rogue One. I am sorry to say I do not remember many things from season 1.
They already uploaded all the season (all the show, actually. Two seasons) to Disney but I am very far behind. I hope to watch a few more episodes tomorrow, but of course I have other things to do. Like grading a few things (serious work) or level-up my RPG character (serious fun). The second thing will probably take me more time.
It was fun to read about how to promise the author to read the book, and all what you mentioned is quite interesting.

On a different note, we have elections here on Sunday. They are for local representatives, so it is not such a big deal, it will only affect my city. But it is the capital of the country, it will have some repercussions on the national level too.

Also, we are having a heavy rainstorm. It has been raining since Friday morning and it is supposed to keep raining, more or less often, until Saturday night. There are moments without any rain, moments with a light rain and real storms, like right now. in some places of the province there are floodings, but not as bad as the one I told you a few weeks ago. At least, for now.

And tomorrow we will have a F1 driver for the first time in many years. I don't actually care for that at all, but for some people in my country it is a big deal. So, in case you are a F1 fan, there is that

I am excited because today I've read that in Daredevil Season 2 we will see Jessica Jones again. I really loved the first season of her show. The other two, not so much.

I have not seen the video, but I can imagine how that it is weird. Francis was a football (soccer) fan, so I see how they continue the line 
Leo spent a lot of time in Perú too and he has the double citizenship, so Peruvians are celebrating they have a Peruvian Pope.
Side comment, my native language is Spanish, so the Pope is called León XIV (León = lion). I always felt weird when I wrote Leo because it sounds so much like the nickname for someone called Leonardo, it is like the way you talk to a friend or family member, not the Head of the Church.
Back on track, yes, I think it was very strategic from Francis to name so many cardinals with a more progressive worldview (to a degree, of course).

Yes, the new Pope is from Chicago and I am having fun imagining him as a friend of Father Forthill. I was actually was making a fast read of his wikipedia page and when I've read that he had been an altar boy in a Church called Saint Mary...I gasped. But it was Saint Mary of the Assumption or something like that.

What you told us about the house building sounds truly fascinating. I would have been watching the whole process too. And I am glad you and your neighbors can use the streets normally now. I hope your new neighbors are nice.

And speaking of neighbors, my neighbors from below are doing some works below (home improvement) and it  is noisy . It is quite annoying (it has been much worse some weeks ago, now I think they are doing more precision jobs).

Thank you for your good wishes. Just to clarify, I applied for the job but I do not know if I will get it. Let's see what the universe is holding for me. And it is in the same university, just an extra part-time position.

Ironically, even when I am at home (today and tomorrow, bridge day for enhance tourism, so no schools, universities or banks), I am working. Come Monday, I am going to apply for a new job (in addition to the one I already have). It is, obviously, a part-time job and my current job and salary are not affected, so I am not too nervous. I am also not that thrilled about more work but I need the money, so I will apply. It is another teaching position (my current job is a research and teaching position, this new one, being only part-time is just teaching). Therefore, I need to go through the same process I explained you before, where my résumé is evaluated and also I have to do a mock teaching class. That is what I am preparing right now, so I am a busy bee!

I finished watching this season of Black Mirror. It was interesting, perhaps not great but better than the previous one in my opinion. Now I am going through Andor. I have so many shows I want to watch:
Wheel of time (current season)
Carnival Row (I watched 2 or 3 episodes of the second season, who is the last one I think).
Blacklist (I slowly, slowly, watched all the seasons, but I still have about half a season to watch)
And I am sure there are many more I do not even remember now.
