Hello Weird!
Fcrate! Glad to see you here! I am doing well, a little under the weather but nothing too bad. And the temperature has raised a lot. For example, we have 14 C now. It is also more or less sunny.
Hubby is doing, well, as well as he does. He also has a cold, with heavier coughing, but he is getting better, it was a bad weekend.
You have a puppy!

Please take care of the little one.
Regen: I am sorry to hear about your mom, is she back home? I hope she is totally recovered by now. And I wish the best for your neighbour.
34 C is hot but quite common in the Buenos Aires summer, so I know how it feels. And I imagine in your area there are not as many AC?
When I had cats, in the worst days of Summer we added one or two ice cubes to their drinking water. It helped them.
Anyways it is good the heatwave is gone for now. As it is the extreme cold here. You were not the only one thinking in the Eternauta, especially because they said there was a very small chance of snowing in the city. Let

:Dbe clear. There was never as much snow as in The Eternauta in the city. In July 9, 2007, we had a little snow, most of it melted as soon as it touched the grown. Before thar, around a hundred years previously it had snowed some more. As the city was colder then (less asphalt, less big buildings, more empty areas. And less machines sending heat to the air) the snow remained for more time and the pictures are prettier. Still, nothing like the Eternauta, which was part of the impact of the comic images. If you showed a Buenos Aires landmark covered by snow, you know something really bad happened.
LOL Regen! When you said you had beetles I thought in the biological bugs

Like the Egyptian ones I am sure Fcrate is too tired of

. It took me a moment to understand what you were saying in your newest post. Now, I still think is great and original that you had car beetles and your kids can play with them. Also great that you had blue beetles before reading Dresden. And I agree, the new models are not as cute as the old ones. I have not seen an old model in ages. They were never super common here to begin with. We had a lots of "fititos" (the Fiat 600 one) which more or less had the niche covered.
