Dina:
I am still in 2025, for an hour. We already had dinner. At 12, it will be a toast and probably an icecream.
I don't think I will see the final episode of Stranger Things until tomorrow night or even later but I have up-to-date until now.

So, HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR EVERYONE!!

Dina:
I liked the Stanger Things finale! Not perfect, but a solid ending.

Regenbogen:
Me too. We did manage to watch it as soon as it was out. I went to bed at 4:30 AM. I believe, I didn't fall asleep in between. Like Mike, I also was a bit suspicious (click to show/hide)that those sound blasters who disabled Eleven's powers were still turned on. They managed to give them sone kind of happy ending. But I am sad for Mike and Eleven.
Today we have an overnight guest. A friend of Micro's. And on New Year's Eve there was a friend of Mini's partying with us.
We accompanied her home, but there was such a cold wind, I got myself a cough now.

And we are having snow! It's not much, but the ground is covered and one can build snow men.

Dina:
Yes. Stranger Things big spoilers ahead.
(click to show/hide)I actually thought immediately that Kali was faking her death. I was not so sure why, but at first I thought it was to trick Henry. Then, when Eleven appeared at the gate I said...oh, she is faking it. But I thought that as soon as the army left, she would tell everyone that she was alive but leaving the country. I also thought she would be with Kali, not all alone. I was very surprised by the 18 months, and I felt so sorry for Hopper. I understand Mike not telling him because Hopper won't stop searching for her, but it is so sad.
I loved the rest of the ending. The graduation speech, the ending of the campaign, the passing of torch. And Mike becoming a writer.
Take care of yourself and drink lots of hot beverages. We are suddenly having around 16 C here, which is amazing. We had 38, almost 39 on December 31!  I hope it remains nice and rain-free.

I am also watcning Emily in Paris. I am on chapter 5 of the season and ithis one felt super long for some reason. I don't want to watch another one for a while but at least I am mid-season.

Regenbogen:
¡Feliz Día de Reyes! for Dina and all those who celebrate.

I hope you all are well and the new year has started in a good way for you.
Mine started fine. I just caught a cold at New Year's which is now a full blown cold. My immune system has been fighting well since before Christmas. I actually saw my lymphocytes in a microscope and they looked very busy, lol. Many people around me had severe colds, some covid, some had some gastro-intestinal virus.  But then I underestimated the icy wind, walked around without a cap and that's when the virus got me.

I am currently reading the last book of Fred the Vampire Accountant. A fun story.
My husband and I are watching Lost in Space. It's nice, but sometimes there is too much going wrong and they always get away fine somehow. Yeah, sure. But I like the series anyway.

Aaaaaannnnnddd... only two weeks now!!!!!
