Dina:
Thank you!
I love the Día de Reyes but it has been slowly replaced by Santa, so children (generally speaking) now got a gift on Christmas and a smaller or cheaper one on Reyes. It was different when I was a child. Back at the time, everyone (adults and children) got gifts at Christmas and children generally received serious thing they needed,  like clothes or things for school (except from grandparents or extended family that could give them funny toys and games) but Reyes were only for children who received things to truly enjoy, so toys, games, books of course, costumes (that they could wear on carnaval and small bijouterie for coquettes). I used to receive books. And I also remember three very special Reyes gifts. One was a small truck who charged coal. It was all on batteries and I have been watching at it in the toy store for months! Another were the walkie-talkie. And, at 8, the skaters. My parents had told me that I was not allowed to have skaters until 8. I thought they would be my birthday gift on Christmas, but no, they came for Reyes  :)

I am sorry you are ill and I hope you get better very soon. Did you really watch your lymphocytes? That is so cool. Well, obviously drink a lot of hot things and remain warm and cozy.

I am looking forward January 15, when Netflix would release Agatha Christie's Seven Spheres. I am a fan of Christie, but I have not read that book in ages and I only remember some parts. Looking forward to watch it!

Lost in Space. I have never watched the new show. The film, I did not like it. The original show was something I watched as a child but not consistently. It was just occasional, I do not remember having liked it too much, not even the robot. And I liked Guy Wiliams because he was El Zorro and he liked Argentina, even lived here. And later I discovered the girl was on Sounds of Music! But for some reason, I was never into Lost in Space.

Regenbogen:
Lost in Space: I wasn't fond of the original either.  But we said we'd try it out and I actually quite like the actors. Especially Don with his chicken and Penny Robinson is also funny.

Watching my lymphocytes was kind of coincidence. I was working the night shift and suddenly the colleagues from the other two departments came with their blood samples for me to test. I asked who took their blood and one of them admitted that she can do it. So asked her to draw mine too.
We are officially not allowed to draw blood of patients. Just from the fingertip or the ear. That's what nurses are for. But is is not forbidden to teach yourself and do it unofficially.
During autumn and winter you can see that a lot of people have some activated lymphocytes which is normal and good. It shows that their immune system is fighting. And all three of us had some activated ones. This was the week before Christmas.

Dina:
That is interesting to know, but at the moment I am watching far too many things.

So fun about watching your own lymphocytes. I hope you are completely healthy very soon (and your colleagues too)

Regenbogen:
Just wanted to check in before the new book to say hi.
Hi. ;D
I am avoiding the boards and reddit these days, because of the risk of spoilers, as some readers already have the book and I don't want to know. Not even if they think it is good.
So happy that it is just a few hours now. I will read it and then spend a few days thinking about it on my own before joining any discussions.
So far I have finished the new dramatised version of Fool Moon on Audible. I've always loved the book because it has cool magic and werewolves.

Have fun reading and until after the book.

Dina:
Hi  :)
Yes, I am looking forward the arrival on my kindle. I know many people already have the book (I heard Barnes & Noble began sellinng it days ago) and I want to avoid spoilers too. So I will be back after reading it too. Enjoy, everyone!
