Dina:
Hi Regen!
Meds seem to be doing their job so far.
Yes, sight is a sad warning of getting older but I don't complain because we have so many things that allow us to enlarge the words when we read. I would have been much worse for elder people decades ago.

Aw, cinammon roll Da Vinci  :). I am super happy to read about your mother, your daughter and your cats. And I hope your husband makes a full recovery soon. And yes, there are other virus too!

Sorry about your book being not so excitiing. I had zero time to read, trying to send a paper.

I've seen Christmas markets in Europe and they are lovely. I hope you enjoy yours! I can't believe it's already middle November.

It is going to be a very hot day today. I will make myself stronger to endure it.

Hi, weird!
Almost a month since my last post. There's been a lot going on. Sometimes it seems, that everybody wants a piece of my time. It's nice to be needed, but sometimes it feels a bit much. Now, things have quieted down a bit.
Micro wants me to crotchet some hand warmers for her, like gloves but without fingers. We've been to a store to buy some pink wool. I don't have pink at home, lol. There is a cool store in the city where my husband works. They have a whole room full of wool.
I don't know if I have told you yet, but I loooove wool. Different colours, different textures, just seeing and touching it. I jokingly call it my wool fetish, lol. When I inherited all of my grandmother's wool, I decided to do something with it. And I started to teach myself proper crotcheting. I don't like to knit, because the needles annoy me, but crotcheting is fine. It soothes me. I sometimes do some littles figures. For example, I made a little Dobby for Mini and currently I am working on a little Hedwig. Maybe, I'll make a little mandrake next.
In September, I made some finger puppets for the local children's fire fighters.
Some homeless people in the city are wearing warm winter caps and shawls made by me.
And once I made a little Pikachu on a keyring as a goodbye to a nice colleague who left us.

Don:
Hey Dina,

The tooth pull went well.  I took a couple of Ibuprofen for a few days and didn't experience any pain or disruption.

It was the bottom tooth all the way on the back right side, so it isn't visible.  One thing I noticed when I flossed is that the bottom teeth on the other side seem to be spaced more than they were.  I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or not.  I'll ask the dentist next time I go in.

But all and all, things are going well for me these days.

Hope you're ready for Christmas.

Regenbogen,

It is nice to have people who value me enough to ask for my time, but I also feel the weight of it.  I think it's better than the alternative, though.

I really enjoyed reading your last post.  It's really nice that you can invest love into the gifts you give to people around you.  I'm sure that you are appreciated.

Wishing you and yours the best.

Regenbogen:
@Don: Thank you and I am glad that your teeth are better now.
I also do some drawings sometimes. I painted T-Rexes for our drawers at work. And I crotcheted a T-Rex for a friend.

Our new mattresses are great. I can sleep better now. Micro's new bed was an adventure. We ordered it online. They put together several packages. I was at work and came home after 10 PM. The neighbour came at about with her sister to disassemble the old bed. The room was clear at around 5 pm. He went to fetch the packages, was home again at around 6. The 4 packages had numbers given in the order of assembly. So far so good.
Once he was finished with package 1 and 2, he noticed that there was no number 3. But number 4 he had twice. Yay. That was at 7:30 pm. The shop closes at 8. It takes about 20 minutes to get there. So recalled them, they prepared package 3 and he had to hurry to get there in time.
When I came home at 10 the bed was still just part of the frame. Poor Micro was already very tired but refused to sleep on the couch or in our bed.
At around 11 pm the bed was finally finished.

I am very glad things were well with your tooth, Don.

Regen, that is amazing about the knitting and the little figurines. I have a BB8 that a friend made for me and I bought another one, a Fallout Pip Boy that I bought to hubby. I don't know how to knit, or crochet. In fact, I barely know basic sewing. No one taught me and I did not have the interest.
It is so cool that you knit for people who need it. Also, I would love to have pink hand warmers. I 've seen some very lovely hand warmers here (worn by people in the bus or at the university) but in the stores I've only seen some very plain ones. Also, I usually forget to search for them.

Summer is not so hard so far. Only a couple of days have been absolutely horrible, too humid and dense. But generally speaking is more or less fine.

The ending of the year is slowly killing me as I am very, very busy, but I am not complaining, things are going more or less well, considering what I think is an abysmal situation for my country, especially sciences, culture, things like that.

I pre-ordered 12 months and Out Law and I am a happy camper  :)

I am enjoying the current season of Stranger Things  :) Also, I watched the first episode of Percy Jackson and it is fine. Cute I would say.
