Altered Tali.  She needs craftsmanship, driving likely won't help and doesn't simulate ship operation all that well anyhow.

Changing her trouble is up to Hobbit Guy.

I can see several troubles working for her.  Immuno deficient -compell to take time to suit repair.  Compell to avoid places guarded by barbed wire or some such.  Compell to never take off that mask.

"Keelah Se'lai" works well too.

I'm kinda thinking linking all the characters trouble to - what I mentioned may be a good idea.

Scred Guardian is a little OP for what it costs.  It does a lot in one little package.

I think it fits the Master Sword (created to defend Hyrule from evil ) better than a martial arts dude.

(I can't say it doesn't represent strong chi well though...so I'm 50/50 on it.)

I dunno.  I'm wary of that power in general.

Hobbit Guy: Make sure you are ok with it going into the game.  It is under the Temple Dog write-up in "Our World".

I'd like to hear your opinion on it and where/if it belongs on any of the characters mentioned.

I think Sacred Guardian was put on an NPC (or only-possibly-PC) for a reason.  If it's included in the game, it'll likely be put at a higher Refresh cost than the book lists for it.

Any other questions about Mega Man, or is it that one good?

I'll probably do a major reconsideration and refluff to make sure it's fair and balanced; don't have book access at work.

If there's something wrong with it, let me know. Most of the power's just reskinned from the book; and the Mega Buster I used for another game, and didn't have any problems with it then, so it should be good.

I'd like to point out one thing about trouble aspects here.  When taken out of their home universe...many of their troubles are going to be non existant.

Their new trouble across the board should be: How do I get home.

Good for compelling players to follow plot.

I'd be wary of giving all of the players this exact trouble. It doesn't say anything about why the characters want to get home.

OK.  made some changes, put up a preliminary link (subject to plenty of change; I don't even have the Ocarina of Time on there yet).  Changed all the Trouble Aspects to match, but I think I'm going to diversify them again (making them more personal).

Put up preliminary Spy and Mega Man stats.

W&M, why give Lulu Breath Weapon if she's got Evocation?  Seems unnecessary.  Besides, the doll she uses boosts her spellcasting.  Seems like a Focus Item to me!

Mr. Death, can you explain your skill layout for Mega Man?  It seems... unusual.

Eh, I don't think Mega Man should have to spend a fate point to use other weapons like that. That's why I put them as enchanted items, so they'd have a known, consistent quantity, like the energy bars in the games. It seems more like something he can just do, rather than need to spend a fate point.

I also don't see the reasoning in having the charge boost his attack roll or make it area of effect. That's just not at all how it acts in the games.

As for his skills, I put Conviction at the top because I was using it as a gauge for his powered-up Mega Buster, which should be powerful. Athletics high because his agility is what helps him keep alive more than his armor, and Might because, well, he's a robot and he's shown lifting really heavy stuff at times. Scholarship's at good for the strength of those Variable/Enchanted items, and because he was a lab assistant. Everything else were stuff I felt he should have, in places that were left.

Charging the attack (in the game I remember playing) sometimes let it pass through the enemies it hit, killing enemies behind them (area attack in a 2d game).  Depending on the weapon charged, it also sometimes became homing (bonus to attack).  I debated allowing it to boost the Weapon: rating as an option, but a bonus to attack is objectively better than a bonus to weapon rating, so nobody would ever take it.  I'll consider how to revise it, though.

The reason for the Fate Point cost is so that the Mega Man player won't wind up gathering attacks from every mook in the game.  In the original, he can only steal from bosses.  The cost ensures that if the player wants to copy a power, he'll make it count.

Fair enough on the fate point thing (though I still think my way's a good way to model it--gives a set limit to how many, and emulates the limited energy of the games; could do both, requiring a fate point to pick up the weapon/enchanted item right then and there).

Passing through enemies would be more along the lines of a spray attack than an area of effect attack, especially since the way DFRPG does area of effect is attacking a whole zone. And whether it's objectively better or not isn't the point. The point is, well, that's just not what the weapon does in the games.

I can say with a fair amount of certainty that there is no Mega Man classic game where where the basic Mega Buster itself was a homing weapon, charged or not. Its consistent effect has always been that it does more damage.

That's...still not right. Guns can always do spray attacks. You don't need to do a maneuver for it. Charging up the shot, in the games, has always been to make the shot more powerful. I.e., raising the Weapon rating. Having the charging ability not do the one thing it's always consistently done in every game for which it's been a feature doesn't make sense.
