Great. Now Sue doesn't want to go to the con because our airport (Newark) MIGHT put in full-body scanners. Yes, I find them loathsome and a strong indication of how our security agencies are substituting the idiocy of numbers for actual security, but it's... bah, it's getting into TT and I ain't goin' there.

While I understand peoples objections to them I myself don't mind them. it's over in a second you can't see the screen and then you are on your way. As far as radiation exposure it's quite minimal unless you fly a great Deal. I hope Sue will reconsider it wouldn't be the same without you both.

is it bad that i kinda can't wait to get scanned?  but then again i'm kinda a freak.  sue is always more than welcome to ride down with us. erm. i'm sure i'll have my car back by then. if not, we might be screwed.

If push comes to absolute no other choice shove, I can always amend my plans and pick you and Sue up on the way down, Shecky. If you're able to help me with gas to defray the cost and don't mind that my car's not huge, I'd be willing. Alternately, maybe me, you, Sue, whingnut, and Starbeam can throw in for a van rental and all drive down together.
