Look at what Harry does: Run away when you can. Concede when you must. Know when you'll need help. And if you go looking for trouble, you might end up burned.

I did just find an instance of some pretty significant healing in the book (click to show/hide)Harry's Godmother healed him after a confrontation with the Nightmare in the third book but considering who did it, it may not be something that is in the reach of PCs.
