Ira Ham, Chairman of Wyrdcon Interactive Storytelling Convention, just announced this via Wyrdcon's FB page, that Mr. Butcher is set to be the VIP Guest at WyrdCon 4 in Costa Mesa September 12-15th.

Is there any word on when the Short Story featuring Molly will be released? Just an approximation ... I know we are dealing with George R. R. Martin and he takes longer than most editors.

Martin finished editing the anthology last month, but we don't have a release date yet.

Since nothing official can be said until things are announced by the cons and other event holders, what are the ODDS that Jim will make it onto the East Coast this year? Maybe near Philadelphia or New York? I just got my girlfriend hooked on Dresden, and I think she'd love to get to see him at a signing. Does he ever go to Dragon*Con?

I tried to locate this on the Wyrdcon page, but it might be too early - does anyone know when Jim is going to be there? The whole convention looks interesting, but I might not be able to swing a flight and the hotel for the full convention.
