Shades my weird dreams normally involve ether buildings exploding or kissing 
I think you have an untapped potential there. I can't think of
anyone writing stories about buildings kissing.
I got a new character in a dream over the weekend. He wants to be in the current project but can't make up his mind whether he wants to be protagonist's ex-boyfriend, former teacher, a former staff officer she's had to deal with, or someone who doesn't show up in the ongoing story until book #8, which is pretty much all the options I have left - he rejected the part that's still open in #5.
