To be honest I am not a fan of playing wizards or spellcasters of any nature. Unless I am forced to do so, which thankfully I am not. Not to mention I always wanted to play a kotc once I understood the system a bit better. Though due to the crappy faith powers they get in the book, it made them a bit less appealing to me.
Though the sword was the main selling point. If my dm is not close minded then I'd run some of the faith powers for him to see if I can use them or not.

Also wanted to know, in the book grave peril. When Kelly, one of the vampire twins touched Michael and her arm burst into flames. What is that considered? A conviction attack? A compel?

I think it was out an out holly burns evil plus a bit of true fatherly love kicked in as Micheal was I remember trying to protect Molly thus his knight power kicked in and hurt the vampire. and I think it was stealth compelling of several aspects on both of sides ( knight of the cross is certainly invoked in that book because Michael was on the clock thanks to Harry.)

I’m not sure Connan ever fed on emotions.  If anything, his discipline is quite low.    The only similarity I see is that they are both old and became kings.

consider they both slept with numerous woman and actually enough one night stands so they dont develop long term commited relationship. So connan dont know the true love drawback of white court vampires all he knows how to fight and how to lay woman.( well to not quote thomas but bellit technically jumped on connans bone in middle of crowd) so my theory kinda stands. and lets not consider in this very own threat i  post sanch's aestas raith build who used outsiders help to eat her demon. in connans case he honed his will enough due slave training and combat his demon technicly never get the chance to kill by feading or one of his old training rapes killed the partner so he turned with out knowing and thinked demons hunger is his desire to adventure.

okay here it the problem thomas trying to do that for  how long. the only way i think some one get rid of white court demon is i think let some other spiritual supernatural beat the demon and destroy it.

the common problem duster was needing repair lot of times harry doesn't have enough resource or connections to grab some real gear. as know harry has box full of diamonds and connection to some serious crafters so if harry want to have solid protective armor all he needs to do is walk down to molly's place and let dwarfs hook him up with decent duster to beat big bad of the book plus if the situation calls it i bet mab gives harry new gear along with enough training to let it be unnecessary  for harry on long run. as winter mantle slowly makes sure harry has insticts to protects his rear thus harry only needs to make sure he taps the combat instict of mantle the time combat starts all armor eventualy be useless in long run

well this whole thor and odin talk is good but thanks to my last vacation. we kinda not know all things as there is people thinking zeus was fertility god instead of the storm god thus with idocity of the current world all i can say may be Ragnarok was a poker turnament that harry gonna attend as bodyguard of some out of blue person. as what faction i like to see in the remaining books my main pic goes to either vodoo pantheon( not that small loa of knowledge but more lake baron samedi himself) or poynesian pantheon. As story hook to intruduce them how about going out of chicago for a full book where harry works with new temporary cast of people
