DFRPG / Good Sources for Magical Gibberish

Do you have any to share?  I have used http://www.wordreference.com/ but it’s really only good for languages that use the Latin alphabet, I’ve had trouble finding sources for phonetic Russian (it sounds appropriately rough without being as cognate heavy as German) on the net. 

My other source, for my nerdy apprentice, is pop culture, mostly video games.  It may be too silly for some tables, but there is a generational group that has very definite ideas about what “Hadouken!” means.

I've been thinking of instituting something like this for characters like Liches from D&D or the Ten Who Were Taken from the Black Company novels: characters who may or may not be hard to hurt but are almost impossible to actually kill.

Cost would be 8.  It would have a stacked catch, just like physical immunity, but the catch would also consider the means by which the character "recovers" from being Taken Out.  I am thinking that, should the character recover automatically that will be +0 (eg. a Lich or one of the Immortals from Highlander), a creature who requires outside effort to recover would get a +2 price break.

So, for those who are familiar with the Black Company, the Dominator (an immortal magical tyrant, not a sports drink) would pay 6 points because it protects him from everything (+0), theoretically invocation of his name would bypass his protection, and since anyone could invoke it that's worth +2, but since no one in the world knows his name and it may have been completely wiped out of existence he gets +0, also he recovers on his own.

Conversely, Ducan MacLeod would pay either 4 or 5, because anyone can get a hold of a chopping implement (+2) plenty of people seem aware of Immortals ability to recover from any wound save decapitation, so that's either +1 or +2, and he gets better without any outside intervention, so +0 there.

DFRPG / Damage vs. Bypass: Expanding the Catch

I’m contemplating a houserule to add potential to the catch.  See, some creatures (Black and Red Vampires are the most common) suffer actual damage from contact with otherwise innocuous substances, such as sunlight and holy water.  Other types of damage simply bypass their supernatural toughness/recovery powers, such as wooden stakes for the Blampires (to the best of my knowledge they are free to handle wood to their cold dead heart’s content.) 

My proposal: if simple physical contact with a normally innocuous substance (such as holy water or sunlight) causes damage, +1 to the value of the catch.  This would also apply to things like cold iron or silver if they cause stress through contact in addition to their usual use (getting turned into weapons).

When, on YS185 the rules state

does that mean that the total cost of your Toughness powers must be at least -1, or that each individual power must cost at least -1?  The reason I'm asking is that I have a -3 catch (Fire, uncommon knowledge) and don't really think my high concept justifies Supernatural Toughness/Recovery.  Since the total cost of my Toughness powers will still be -1 that seems to fly, but I can't help thinking that it doesn't, since it would mean that the cost of one of the powers was -0, and the other is -1.  Help?

The fourth law states "[t]hou shalt not invade the mind of another," which seems pretty straight forward, but really isn't as far as my group and I are concerned.  Our hangup is on the word "invade," which seems to imply a lack of consent on the part of the subject.  We're attempting to resolve the question "is it permissible to enter the mind of another with their informed consent?  For instance, “why, I think someone has laid a compulsion on me, feel free to take a rummage in there and let me know what you find.” After all, a person on my property can either be an invader or a guest, their state depends on my consent.

Now, there are no explicit examples of something like this happening in the books, but there could be an implicit example.  In

One of my players wants to play what amounts to a Neuromancer Psychiatrist.  Her concept is that the character bills herself as both a doctor and a Wiccan, who uses her magick (the character’s spelling) to help her patients truly understand their own cognitive processes by enabling them experience their own mind as a third party (the player’s heavy into cognitive behavior therapy), for which we’re working on a spell.  (Naturally she’ll be tempted to make a few changes herself, but that’s a compel for another time.) 

Personally, I don’t think she’s a lawbreaker, but I’d like some other thoughts on the matter.  Also, has this been addressed in the RPG?  I’ve looked, but it doesn’t discuss allowable mental magic (which is a point against my interpretation I suppose).

I've been looking through the books, and I don't think there are any rules for simply throwing/blasting/blowing/otherwise moving enemies from one zone to another.  It seems like a relatively obvious use of magic, and one that Harry has employed several times,.  Are there rules for this sort of evocation that I'm missing?  I know SotC has rules governing throwing people around with Might, and you can move a grappled opponent up to one zone (more with Inhuman+ Strength) but I don't see any discussion for, say, blowing an opponent who outweighs the Blue Beetle through a wall, across a city street, and through another wall.

In a somewhat related question, would dropping a car on your opponent's head simply be a sufficiently powerful (probably Weapon:5 or more, like being hit by a car) application of a pure force attack like Forzare?  I'm leaning yes on this one.
