You might want to check out Spider-Man: The Other. I just got done reading it a couple of hours ago. It's not Morlun heavy, but it's a bit of a sequel to Darkest Hour as far as Morlun is related. And it gives you an idea of how big of a bastard Morlun is.

I haven't read the Spidey comics that first have Morlun that Spider-man barely escapes from (which is described in The Darkest Hour), but I recommend The Other.

I know, it sounds odd that I'm being cheerful about getting rejected, but hear me out: I sent out about 7 in the past month and only one of the 7 came back, which means that at least SOMEONE is paying attention to me. That wasn't even the oldest query letter I sent out, either.

I wrote the first book of my Felicity Stone series (a YA Urban Fantasy series) and I've started on my second, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to submit this? I mean, essentially the book COULD stand alone, but is meant to be the first of a series, so I was wondering if I submit it and my plans for the next books, or should I just do the book, or should I submit the book plus the outline of the series and the first couple of chapters of the second?  I'm excited that I finished a book, and of the ones I've done, this is by far the longest, only at 250 pages, though. (50 more pages than my last attempted finished book.) It's weighing in at 50k works.

Okay, I'm kind of confused about something. In The Darkest Hour, Spidey says that he killed Morlun by injecting himself with radioactive material and letting Morlun drain him and then Morlun's guy shot him in the chest when he was weakened, but I read on Wikipedia that it happened differently in the comic. I read that Morlun ripped Spidey's eye out and when he was in the hospital, Morlun went after Mary Jane and Peter got pissed so he mutated into a giant spider and killed Morlun and then died himself only to be born from a cocoon.

So then which is true? I thought they were both Amazing Spider-man.

I hope this is the right place for this, but I decided to try a game I stole borrowed from another forum. The other forum has pictures, but I'm too lazy to do that, so I'm doing it words. Basically...I'm the storyteller and I'll tell you a bit of the story and you tell me what you want to happen or think should happen and I'll figure out which one I can use best and add that to my story. If I have a couple of good ones, then I'll put them into the story. Let's begin.

It was another boring day at home. I couldn't go anywhere because it was raining. I sighed, turning on my TV. The satellite feed was bad, but I tried the best I could to watch. My TV told me that I had lost the signal, so I went onto my roof to try and fix the satellite. All of a sudden, I felt a surge pass through my body. I was thrown from the roof, but I never hit the ground.

What happens next?
