Oh, I used body as shields, amulets, and food for things, but never as a weapon. Oh, I used it too for trap detection.

Methinks is not absolutist if you can be removed by the people.

Don, sorry, I thought Mimik had told me I was Jessica Rabbit last time I was Poison Ivy

Sorry GW, is that I am a teacher and I would have been unhappy with a student doing what you did.

Awesome DC!

GW...eh, no. That was not what I meant.

LOL DC, and I insist, you need to take a decisive moment. When everybody assumes you have a gf, is high time you do that true.

ROFL Duck!!!

It would be worthy GW.

LOL Don! (it was Mimik, right?)

GW, how is your personal hat?

Don, perhaps he works ok in group. One of the classmates I mentioned was good as a group member, he could work well and was really clever. The problem was that in class he just felt the need to show off his brilliancy (he was nor really brilliant, but he was deluded).

(((Duckie!!)))

Want to join us, DC?

Again, middle point. Ask some questions in class. Note some others and ask them before or after the class, or ask your teacher if you can see him out class or if you can e-mail him.

Australian cowboy or rainbow wig  :). And Don is right, small surprises are great.

Teachers love questions, but not when they are so much that the whole class is derailed. I had some students like that, and, as a student, I had some of them as classmates. I hated them much more when I was a student because I couldn't concentrate.

My students aren't paying for the service  :)

GW, oh, I was not considering you will have any problem in graduating. I was talking about being rude. Perhaps you should talk to your teachers before classes, tell them that you need to read but you didn't mean disrespect with that and you will try to be discrete while reading, so not to distract the class. Is the best middle point I can think of.

And you will gain courage, be optimistic.

Don, of course! Little surprises are better than fanzy ones. For example, when he put a message of love in the screensaver of the computer, it was for free. But I loved it!!!

If you have authority problems, is ok. Don't go to a place where you have to accept another's authority. But those are the game rules. If you want a degree, you have to accept some reasonable level of authority from teachers.

It seems that you really have a problem, GW.  :-\

GW, it doesn't matter if you can do a lot of things. I was able to read and have normal conversations since I was a child, as well as I am watching TV and writing now. But reading when another person is talking is supposed to be a lack of respect anyway. At least, that is here in Argentina. It would be considered rude for most people. And is specially rude to do that to a teacher, who is doing her job.

Sorry, I have a whole life of been taught that reading when another people is talking is a serious lack of respect (my parents would have been so embarrased if they learn I was reading in HS or college...). And as a teacher I would felt offended if that happened to me. I would send the student out.
I am not discussing your way of learning, that is personal.  I wish you could have the same chance that my students have, taking the special test and not coming to see me.

Edited to add; Dinner time, I will be back soon  :)

That is the most important thing, I think, Don. As a teacher, I can tell you my experiences and things that they are not in the book. But if you really feel I am totally useless because you can learn all from the books, then (here) you can present to a special test amd that's all. You don't need to come to the classes. But I wouldn't advice you to do that.
