Will and Georgia’s child

Anyone think this child might have been conceived on Demonreach during the events of Turn Coat?  If so… will that impact the child?  How will it impact the child?

All I know is that the kid was born with supernatural werewolf abilities.

Georgia was visibly pregnant during Changes. Turn Coat is the book before, so maybe.

So probably not conceived on Demonreach. That would have been, at a minimum, a 15 month term.

  It's  possible that the kid was, there was strong evidence that Will and Georgia did make love while there.  Or a point was made to mention it, a point that has little to do with anything unless the possibility that a child was conceived.  If one was, does a child  conceived by two werewolves on an island like Demonreach become something special by the time the BAT rolls around?  So I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the possibility unless the time for gestation doesn't add up. However here is another question on that front, is the time for gestation the same for werewolves as it is for vanilla humans?

Assuming Georgia stayed human the whole term, I think we're looking at a 9-month pregnancy +/- a bit.  The longest human  pregnancy ever recorded was 12 months (and it was quite an outlier; so much so that (despite multiple doctors attesting it) there was claim of a hoax).

Wolves' gestation is even shorter -- typically 2-2.5 months.

I don't think 15 months is realistic, sorry.

Of course, Jim may write it that way anyhow.  We know (from some of the "impossibilities" uncovered in the timeline) that Jim's a bit prone to working from memory and going "that's probably close enough."

  Truthfully in the case of a werewolf, I don't think one can assume anything.

That may well be true; but Harry has been at some pains to point out -- in various contexts -- that the Alpha's are "just" wolves -- essentially indistinguishable from real wolves (unlike the Loup, the Hexenwolves, etc).

I strongly doubt that their child was conceived during Turn Coat but I wouldn't be surprised to discover it was conceived due to it. They have unprotected coitus on DR during the events, it turns into a pregnancy "scare", then Georgia and Billy realize that they do actually want a child. I know a few people, including my parents, who intentionally conceive after similar circumstances.

  Or for what ever reason, the actual conception was delayed.  Don't ask me how, just a thought.  However what I find strange, in 12 Months, Will is always at the castle, early morning, fixing breakfast, late at night, working out, taking notes.  Will has changed since the Battle for Chicago, even Harry mentions in 12 Months that Will frightens him, however he can't seem to put his finger on it.  The point I am getting to this means Will is away from his family a lot!  Georgia is a capable woman, but I know of few mothers who would be happy about her husband gone a lot, especially with a young child at home.  What about Will's work or his business?  That too is being neglected, yet Will never mentions, wife,child, or business to Harry, positive or negative.  Very strange, the Pack shows up a couple of times, but while Harry mentions them showing up, he doesn't name any of them.  He used to do that.
