I know, I had dealt with that regarding the DF before. The things the AI told me were hilarious, but nothing so complete, detailed and wrong at the one Lehane posted.

What is scary is a lot of people, won't question it.

Absolutely.
Doesn't much matter, for stuff like pop fiction.

But RL issues are getting buried under extremely-realistic AI slop, too; and people are giving it credence...

Yes. I agree.
Missing you, Md

There are many horrible sights in the multiverse. Somehow, though, to a soul attuned to the subtle rhythms of a library, there are few worse sights than a hole where a book ought to be. Someone has stolen a book (Terry Pratchett)

Hmmm... I don't think Harry was developing a new Shadow. We don't know exactly when it changed hands, but once Hannah took up the coin, the link to it and any resulting shadow should snap to her, as its bearer. It's true that we don't know if she survived the trip to Hades, but I suspect that Harry would have to touch the coin again to reestablish that connection.

The rest of the theories are interesting. It's likely that Rudolph encountered someone or something from the spooky side during an investigation and they either influenced him or did the damage that made him so paranoid. It's hard to say whether or not he was under active pressure and/or control when he shot Murphy... I kind of think it reads better as a tragic accident, but I guess we'll see... because I expect he'll show up again and get soulgazed by Harry, for added torture and pain.

I really don't know what to think about the Knights vs Denarian influence theory. It's compelling, and I'm half-convinced. But... it's also possible that while their primary mission in Chicago was to fight Ethniu, they took a moment to save the soul of a good friend. Knights are the kind of people who won't hesitate to help others, and Harry needed their help in his moment of rage and despair. Or maybe Uriel gave them a nudge, as he's always been interested in guiding Harry in his battles, especially if his Starborn skills will be needed in some future battle.

It's kind of a toss-up, it could go either way.

P.S. I wouldn't put too much faith in any AI-generated information. If it can't find data, it tends to make something up. 🤮

The wait for a new owner has been long and has been brought up in multiple books. Here are some reasons it may be the least likeable Dresden verse character.
1. Shiro became a Christian because he wanted to see Elvis. Sanya used to follow the nickleheads. Butters is a jew. So obviously left field wieldeders is not unheard of.
2. Rudy has been around since the beginning. He was introduced before just about anybody besides Murphy. There has to be a reason.
3. It would be an interesting choice since its the sword of Love. Considering what happened in Battleground.
4. Jim loves making Harry's life difficult.

Rudy will not get Excalibur. It will go to someone like Will or one of the wolves.

I think Daneil, michaels son will end up with the sword. if you pay attention to him in the short stories and the books he is on a hero's journey
I am who I am that's all that I am from my head to my toe that's all that I am.
