Regenbogen:
Sorry for the double post. It wouldn't let me edit the original post.

Just wanted to add: I also wasn't happy with the ending of the last Dr Who episode. Like what: (click to show/hide)he only gets one season? Or was it two? What a pity. I liked the new actor. And now what? Is Rose the new doctor now? Why? Not sure if I like that. And why did he just change? All the others had to die for the change to happen, and he did it just on his own? On purpose? Weird.

Dina:
Hello Regen  :)

Re: Eternaut
Yes, Darín is the one playing Juan. He is super famous in Argentina and it stars in a lot of our movies. People is joking about how he is everywhere, they are saying his next adaptation would be Mafalda (Mafalda is a comic about a little girl)  :)
El tano Favalli ("tano" is short for "italiano" which of course mean Italian. We use that a lot. People says it could mean short for Napolitano too, as we had many inmigrants from Napoli but I think it is just for every Italian) is played by César Troncoso, which is not a very popular actor. I mean he was in many movies but it is not too famous. Darín was famous since he was a young man because he starred in some TV shows and was in a romantic relationship with a very famous and popular actress. All that was long ago, he reinvented himself as a serious movie actor.
You understood Inga because she is from Venezuela. She is a new character, and it is real that many delivery people are from Venezuela.
If you have any doubt about something Eternauta related, let me know.
Re. Doctor Who. (click to show/hide)He got two seasons. And I think there had been other Doctors regenerating and dying on purpose for the greater good, but I cannot check now. I did not like that he regenerated because I liked him, but my real rage was about Rose. I do not like her and I definitely don't want her as the Doctor.

Aaaaah, now I understand. I couldn't remember the nickname he was called. And when I tried to look it up, I was confused, because it didn't sound like either Alfredo or Favalli. So tano stands for Italian. That's very interesting. Thank you.

Dr Who:
(click to show/hide)I have no particular feeligs toward Rose, but I also don't like ger as the Doctor. Ok, Capaldi did also play some pompeian guy before he became the Doctor, but Rose is an established character who already had a lot of screen time. I would prefer someone new.

Different topic: I am crotcheting a cute mini T-Rex for a fellow DF fan and good friend. I have a lot of fun with it. I guess he will be about 20cm long once I am done. Not sure if I am going to make a saddle, too. Probably not, I have given him some pink and blue colour on his back. And it would be hidden by the saddle, which would be a pity.
Well, dinosaurs are supposed to have been colourful. So, mine is green with brown dots on his belly and blue and pink stripes on his back. I hope I'll manage to make him stand on his own.
She will squeek of joy.

Dina:
Yes, we have lots of things like "Tano". One of the characters in the Eternauta (click to show/hide)the one who dies first leaving the house to find his family is nicknamed "ruso". Ruso is Spanish for "Russian", but in all probability, the character is not of Russian ancestry but Polish or Jewish. We also called pretty much every East Asia person "chino" (Chinese) no matter if they are actually from China or if they are from Japan, Korea or even Philippine (we had very few Philippine inmigration, but there are many Chinese, Japanese and Korean people).
I should probably are that we called "negro" every person with dark skin, like me, for example. I am what people in USA call Latino or Brown. But in Argentina "negro" could be a friendly nickname. Sometimes it is used with a derogatory intention but most people have a dear friend who is nicknamed "negro" you will notice for context.

About Doctor Who, yes, definitely. (click to show/hide)Even if the regeneration had been in somebody I like, for example, Martha Jones, I would have been irritated.
An amigurumi! Lovely! We have 3 of them (not done by me, I don't know how to wave). A baby Yoda, a BB-8 and a Pip Boy from Fallout. I am sure your friend will be ecstatic.

Regenbogen:
Hi, weird!

Just dropping by. It is hot outside. Finally the rains have stopped. The kids have school holidays and are being lazy.😉

We have started watching Andor season 2 and like it a lot.

My mother's birthday is tomorrow and she wants a cake, so I'll bake one today. Just sent Micro out for eggs to overcome the laziness.

I'm still not done with the dinosaur, but I hope it will be finished by next week. I am proud of the coloured stripes, looks almost like the back of an European Garden Spider (Kreuzspinne).

Mini wants to visit an art museum in Munich next week. She's an artist. Doesn't need much to be happy: just food, drink and art supply, lol.
