Dont know if this has been said elsewhere but do you think there will be any back'lash' from uriel whispering in butters ear about the location of the sword to give to michael in SG? How nany words will that give the fallen to wisper?

I don't think so, he whispered to a future Holy Knight to get the Sword of Love to it's former wielder, Michael.  Michael may be retired, but he remains a Knight.  I think Uriel had orders to "stretch the rules a bit on this one," the mission was that important.  That is why shortly after, Uriel even loaned his Grace to Michael, so Harry had every chance to succeed.

Uriel could well have already given Michael his grace at that point. Which would mean the scales wouldn't need balancing.

But even if Uriel was still immortal at that point, then the simplest explanation is he already WAS balancing the interference of the Fallen. What whispering the Fallen may have done already remains to be seen.

Don't forget, the Fallen don't seem to have an issue breaking the rules from a purely functional point of view. They are the ones who cross the line first. But even they seem to be aware that any action they take in such circumstances gives an opening for Heaven to match it...and they might restrain themselves because of that.

You don't get backlash for speaking at all, presumably telling Butters where to get the bundle with the sword fell into the wiggle room category.
Currently dealing with a backlog of games.

If you want me to type up a book quote or find a WoJ quote, send me a PM.

Rest in peace mdodd.

Harry knew from the beginning that he needed a Holy Knight with Sword to balance things against two Denarians..  Only Murphy refused to be even a temporary Knight and openly wield the Sword of Faith... Instead she went her own way with it which lead to it being shattered and her being half kicked to death.

So at that point the Sword of Faith had been shattered, Sanya was elsewhere,so no balance.  In it's present form the Sword of Love would have been too heavy for a small and not trained Butters to wield as well as not being a Knight yet, also he was needed to render first aid to a badly injured Murphy.  So there was only one option to balance things, Michael.  And he wouldn't have been able to balance things without Uriel's Grace which restored for the moment his physical strength.
