Did your girl arrived home without further troubles?

Somehow they did.  ;) They said, their train to the city was one hour late, but I believe they missed the train and took the next one, lol.
My daughter told me they had fun and they got lost several times, but they managed to find MacDonald's for the unhealthy food lessons  ;D and the friend planned to go to a big shopping center. That's when they didn't find their way. I asked if they found it and my daughter wasn't sure. I laughed a lot. Usually one notices, when one is in a shopping center. The shops are a give away mostly, lol.
She bought chocolate in heart form and in cat form. I asked in which shop she was for the chocolate. She didn't know, but showed me the recipe. It was in the shopping center.   ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
So, OK, they found it.

And they managed to take the correct train home. Which isn't as easy as it sounds. At this station the arriving trains are sometimes parted, so that one half goes south and one north. It can happen that there are two trains on the same track. You need to be careful to take the north bound one. But I warned her about that.

I understand about the maps. My orientation is usually good, but if there are too many roundabouts my sense of direction gets confused, because often they make you for example take the street west when you want to go north. You know, you want to go this direction, but the street goes at first in another one.
It is better on foot or bike. Mostly I know the place I want to go is appropriately this direction, so I can look for a way to get at least near it.

Dina:
That sounds like a real adventure! I am happy on behalf of your child. And I like her choice of chocolates  :)

Regenbogen:
Hello?   8)
How are you all?

Dina:
Uhm, to be honest, I had better days. I have a few problems at work (literally, with the work. Not with people, or anything. Just, I am not having results with something I am doing). Also, hubby is having troubles with his computer and I am worrying we will need to buy a new one. That would mean a serious red in our budget.

But I should not complain, we are both reasonably healthy and I am going to have gnocchi tonight  :)

I promise I will be more talkative next time. I hope you are doing well. ((((((Everyone))))))

@Dina:
So sorry about your work and the computer. I hope it will all work out somehow.

I sort of redecorated our living room. Meaning I put a shelf and a small cupboard on another wall as they were before and I changed out the things they contained.
Nothing special, but I am content now, because the cupboard tended to be blocked by a movable armchair. One always had to either crawl over it or remove it (it is heavy) to get to the cupboard leading to all the board games and kids' stuff being put on top and constantly falling off. It's hard to describe. The living room is L-shaped and there is a big old scratch tree for the cats on the side not visible from the entrance. Beside it was the cupboard. And the sofa and the armchair were kind of almost in front of the cupboard, so that the armchair tended to move in front of it, the more often it was jumped on by the kids to either watch TV or get to the cat on the "tree".
I postponed moving it because there was so much stuff on and inside it.
Also the inside was used to put in things nobody had an idea what to do with them. Meaning collections of drawn pictures, stuff crafted from paper, rests of paper scraps one still hoped to craft new stuff from  ::) , card games with missing cards or parts of games missing the rest, lol.
But now it is done finally.
