Dina:
Hi Regen!

I hope all goes well with your daughter. I laughed at the friend on a mission to teach her unhealthy food  :)

I have my own scary experiences with transport, but luckily most of my problems are missing a few stops of the bus, so no big problem. Just had to took the bus on the other way.

LOL the girls had a typical chaotic start. Mine almost went to the wrong station. Let's see how they get home. A little adventure against boredom during the holidays. ;) And combined with the fun of eating unhealthy food, lol.

Dina:
LOL, when we were young we did not have our cells with maps and plans telling us where to go. I was never good with directions, so it is sort of a miracle I never had serious problems. Now, cells helped me. A few years ago, hubby and I went to London and Paris, and we are indebted to our cells (even when we had to save some maps in case we did not have internet. It took us some days to learn how to have connection on the street). Young people has it easier now  :)

In some way yes. But I have noticed, as so many people use their navigation systems or Google maps, some don't know how to use a paper map or orient themselves without one any more.
I was always good in using maps. As a child I often played that there were actually tiny streets and my tiny car would drive on them.
But if you had a bad map, you are in trouble. I remember my husband and I arriving in Dublin at night and trying to find our hostel with our rented car. We were lucky there was a nice citizen who helped us. At first he tried to explain, but it was too complicated, because of all the one way streets, but then he decided to bring us there.
Google maps would have been a help there, but we would have missed the adventure.

Dina:
I am good with maps too! It is with real life streets that I become confused, or with instructions. When I see a map, all is solved in my mind.
Did your girl arrived home without further troubles?
