This was my thought on the subject as well.  Good Behaviors vs. Gift.

Agreed.  Especially since there is a separate set of consequences for Bad Behavior. 

Also there is the Milk & Baked Goods that people leave out, but arguably that could be a cultural memory of how to summon Fairies in general (milk&bread being the traditional offering, even for Toot back in SF)

And when you think about it, what is Pizza largely made of?

Bread and a dairy product.

No wonder the pixies like it so much.
