Finally got my brain into gear on TISBWO prequel yesterday, which I have been trying to do for way too damned long.  Then there was a power cut so I could not do anything about it other than Mull Furiously, but today I made a through pass on 30,000 words of what will probably end up about 100kwords long.

Within 6k of finishing YA Sci-Fi novel.  Was 12k away last Friday, and I has more writing juice today if my neck tension stops messing with my left eye...(I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing to have happen...)

Remaining small things on that pass done; it's coming out about 104kwords.  And that I hope will finally be that (short of a publishing professional requesting changes, of course.)

And yes, this is the longest thing I've ever written. About twice as long as my first book. It'll probably come down a bit in editing, though.

That's my Locked Within trilogy done. Aside from edits or the odd short story I have in mine, the next thing I write will be completely different.

1200 words on TIWTBWO #3 tonight, and that chapter is falling together, I am just not sure that after a week like this I can keep my eyes open long enough to do any more useful work on it; maybe during the day tomorrow.
