*sigh* One of my crit partners spotted that I'd saved over Chapter 32, losing an important scene.

Today's lunchbreak writing will be re-writing that earlier scene before I continue.

Thanks. Same here, it's the worst feeling.

Still, at least it was spotted now and not after I was celebrating the end of the first draft. Or worse, that I didn't overlook it in editing and send the whole thing off to my publisher, mistake and all.

After re-writing the lost scene, my current word count is 77,293. Lost a couple hundred words, but at least I fixed the mistake.

I hope you didn't lose any interesting little twists along the way.  I had to redo about 200 words today due to a computer crash.  It sucked.

Yeah I only got about 3k today and I was really hoping to finish wrapping up this novel so I could get started on the next one this week.  but that 200 was pretty frustrating.

As for the computer I'm pretty sure my lap top is all virused up right now.  I just want to finish up this novel at least before I take this thing into the shop.

Wordmaker sorry to hear that happened! I'm glad you got it taken care of.  :-\

Deposed King you are a writing BEAST lol. If only I could achieve the word count you do! Awesome!  8)

Spywolf don't ever worry about how much you write. What's important is that you just stick to it! Writing 100-200 words a day is better than no words at all!  ;D

As for me I'm about halfway through chapter 2 of my second book. I can't recall how many words I have at the present time.  :o
