certainly possible. or it could just be coinicidence; its very common in  many cultures for persons to have simillar names or relgiously associated ones

'joshua, eli, elijah, ellia...'

It looks like the name Maeb was also one of spellings of the queen of Connaught's name.  The queen is far more often mentioned.

There are theories that Medb was the goddess ritually married with the king.

later connections include Morgawse as 'the queen of the isle' as well as 'the queen of air and darkness' related to maeves 'queen of the north'

mytholgy. lets be honest folks; its millenia of fan fic.

Oddball:
I'd like to see an interaction between krampus, harry, and santa. That would be fun to read. Also is Krampus a distinct entity or a mask like odin with santa, if so who's behind the mask.
