It goes without saying that I'll be there!  Who else will I see?

I'd love to go, but I don't think that I'll be able to make it up north on a week night.

Me, I am going to be there. From 3 pm till the end. I am going to be in the Coffee shop/grille in front of the store. Going to be in a corner reading a copy of "Cold Days" on a nook.

And you can call the store and per-order your book. It will not be 1-50 because they have buses coming up from the Sandy Eggo store that have those numbers all ready!

Still going to be in the coffee place in front of the store at 3 pm.

I'm going to try and go.  I'm putting in for the day off today, and going to try and order the book this weekend.

So, I got the day off and will be calling the store on Tuesday to see if I can get the book.  I'm coming up from Orange County and I don't want to drive up Tuesday and Wednesday,so, hopefully I can just get it on Wednesday.

Anyways, this is my first trip up to L.A. since living out here.  Does anyone have any ideas for sightseeing earlier in the day before the signing?

Also, what is the etiquette for the signing.  I want to get a picture with Jim.  Is that cool?  How long is the whole event going to be?

Anyways, I look forward to meeting all the so cal Dresden Fans at the event.  None of my friends are into the books.  It's going to be a good time.

In my experience, pictures with Jim are generally ok, though if there are too many people, the bookstore may change their stance to keep the line moving.

I believe the Seattle signing lasted from 7 to 11:30.  L.A.'s starts at 6, but I believe they're expecting a bigger crowd of people.  I hope Jim has his wrist splint!
