To me the distinction is this, it wouldn't have to be Harru Dresden as he was at age 8. It could be Harry Dresden, mini'd down to an 8 year old. Sort of like how Marvel comics always used to have those 'Mini Marvels' strips on the Bullpen page.

No, Cruise is playing Toot. Because no CGI will be necessary to shrink him. He'll be on marionette strings.
