Did you discover the books because of the TV Show?

I'd heard of the Dresden Files from another forum, but I only picked up the books after watching the first episode of the show. I'm glad I did - they've been giving me a lot of enjoyment ever since. :)

From SFFChronicles (or Chronicles Network) - they have a Jim Butcher sub-forum there, although it's not as active as it used to be.
