Hey guys,

As most of you know. I work for New York Jedi, a stage combat group that uses prop lightsabers. We will be performing at New York Comic Con all weekend. We have tables near the Variant Stage and one at a Battle Corral located in the Crystal Palace (the glass walled foyer at the front of the Javits Center). There will be a thirty minute show at 6pm at the Variant stage and another at 4:30 on Saturday and we'll be at the corral for the duration of the con. Come and stop by! Many in Jedi are Butcher fans and would love the oppurtunity to meet more DresdenPhiles!

So is Jim attending the convention as a guest, or is he actually speaking on any of the days? I didn't check all of the panels yet, but I haven't seen his name anywhere.  ???

He'll be on the Epic Fantasy Panel Friday night with Joe Abercrombie, Peter V. Brett, Jim Butcher, Naomi Novik, and possibly Brandon Sanderson.

Oh boo. Anything on Saturday? I'm coming with my Japanese Club students and I was hoping to catch Jim at some panel on that day, since it's the only one I can attend. :)

3) Click on the highlighted floor.
4) Browse in style and pleasure. Mouseovers give info.

Unfortunately, this is just the exhibit floor. No map yet of the panel rooms.

The trivia and cosplay prizes will be autographed and personalized, but they're the exception.  I'm asking folks not to ask Jim to sign stuff at the dinner, as he'll have three hours' worth of signing time earlier that day.
