Depending on whether they ship media mail or nor will make a huge difference in overall cost.  CONUS media mail rates for 10 lbs is super cheap (8-9 bucks?).  As long as there's a .pdf file with preorder I have no problem in waiting for lower priced shipping (media mail is typically less than 7 shipping days CONUS).  Besides, with a pdf I can take it to work and read it while I'm not busy  ;)

That's true, though the added benefit of a tracking number with UPS might make an argument in that favor... though it could be nearly double the cost. I'm exploring the options.

USPS does offer delivery confirmation on media mail packages. It would add a little extra $$ but not much ($0.80?)
What if there were no hypothetical situations?

Delivery confirmation is to package tracking as Victor Sells is to Queen Mab.

Hello

I would just like to say that for shipping to Canada, I (and I presume many others) way, WAY prefer UPSP to UPS.  UPS is maybe a day faster, but they charge you an arm and a leg for custom clearance.  And when you aren't there, UPSP delivered packages end up at the local post office for pick up, which for most people is much closer than the UPS depot.

I know this is pretty anecdotal, but I figured you might like to know.

cheers,

Is there any where we can sign up to be notified of the pre-order once its available?  I know I'd love to jump on it as soon as possible.

Keep an eye here on this forum and on the official website at http://www.dresdenfilesrpg.com/ -- you can use an RSS reader to track new posts on the website.  Or you can follow @dresdenfiles on Twitter, where you'll be sure to see notice as soon as the preorder goes live: http://twitter.com/dresdenfiles

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but it's been bouncing in my head ever since I got the PDF today. Is there going to be a Game Screen with the books? I haven't heard any mention of it, and while I don't think there is, it would be great to see.

No current plans. But who knows? If the revenues are there, we can definitely investigate it.

Aren't YS110 and YS111 basically a "screen"?
If you have to ask, it probably breaks a Law of Magic.  You're just trying to get the Doom of Damocles.

Greetings

I've printed 410 and 411 double sided on lightweight card and laminated the sheet.  Works for me.
