The theory is premised upper Mab sanctioning the use of the Pizza S’Press logo and livery, and that as Fae she cannot lie ergo she owns Pizza S’Press otherwise she would be running a false flag operation. In addition as Harry’s Lord she has to ensure that Harry can provide for himself and his warriors under arms. The Za Lord’s guard would not accept a diet of meals ready to eat. Mab owns Pizza S’Press, she just hasn’t told Harry, and she may be waiting for an appropriate time to give it to him. I presume it may be upon his wedding, (it certainly wasn’t his birthday or Christmas) he is undertaking a major boon for Mab, so he might have found out before now if the wedding hadn’t been delayed by a year.

Pre-figuring in The Law, Harry is making his croissant crust pizza for game night. He mentions it repeatedly.

Harry is unlikely to be a major franchise mascot, he doesn’t have the face for it, but Toot and Lacuna would be ideal I would go with Toot and Lacuna toot- brushes. “After eating all that messy pizza, brush your teeth OR ELSE” Lacuna. Dental health in the tri-state area would improve immensely

Which is weird because you wouldn't want to use croissant dough, both are yeast doughs, but there the comparison ends. Croissant dough is a many layered bread dough with butter in-between the layers, and is an all day project.. Not traditional pizza dough at all..

Giving Harry a lot of culinary credit there.  I'd assume most of his cooking involves prepackaged things.  like his typical " sandwich out of whatever cold cuts were in the ice box and a coke" meals.
The Little Folk may sneer at frozen pizza, but I bet Harry doesn't mind it so much.

But in this case they shouldn't be ignored, "an army marches on it's stomach" after all. ::)

Too much frozen pizza and that army marches on Harry’s stomach.

My guess Harry started making pizzas with frozen pizza dough, to satiate his armsmen (and woman) and accidentally bought a load of Croissant Dough instead and…. didn’t notice until people started commenting on how terrific the croissant crust was.

Harry’s a wizard, is he is going to take credit for a mistake as being on purpose, or admit to the mistake?

Harry would keep re-inforcing the ‘on purpose’ with his little recitation.

No, in this case I think Harry was feeding his minimen with boxed frozen pizza like you'd get in the frozen food section of your local supermarket... Toot and his men know fresh mozzarella cheese made from real milk and artificial..

He had frozen pizza, I say he switched to frozen dough and fresh ingredients like a lot of pizza chains do (the have a central depot where the dough is made, frozen and dispatched daily to the restaurants, defrosted at need and topped with their proprietary sauce (also centrally made and canned) , Mozarella and fresh chopped toppings. If someone like Charity (definitely NOT Molly)is making a couple of gallons of sauce fresh for Harry each Thursday, his pizza’s are likely fresher and tastier than any of the chains.

This is something Harry can replicate when owning Pizza ‘S’Press, change the dough and sauce recipes to a croissant and scale up Charities recipe.

The question is though toppings…….. cold cuts meat feast obviously for Harry. Toot everything on but everyone else?

You are ignoring a technicality, what is being shipped is the dough rolled out frozen, not the whole pizza. In the restaurant they put fresh ingredients on.  In the story Harry was taking out whole pizzas already frozen, not the same. Also in the better places? They toss their own and advertise the fact.

oh, I'm a pizza snob.  I will eat fast food pizza if it's put in front of me out of politeness to my host, but I'm not going to go there myself.
Frozen pizza?  nope nope nope.
So I totally get where you're coming from Mira.

Yes but it’s mostly the non-chain mom and pop pie shops which make fresh dough daily on site which are undoubtedly the best, but these are getting crowded out by the chains, or having to sell cheaper burgers, kebabs and fried chicken as well. Every time a proper pizza place is forced to sell cheap fried chicken, a sprite looses their wings.

The most frightening thing a Sprite can read on a menu “Mozarella style topping” not real mozzarella, nor often even real cheese. Definitely not real pizza, something an Outsider would relish.

Indeed, and Toot and Za'Gard understand these are hard times, also they do not want to lose their wings.. However since they put their lives on the line for Za'Lord, they shouldn't have to settle for second best, i.e. frozen.

On this basis with a frozen (but defrosted) croissant base  fresh sauce, fresh toppings and proper mozzarella Harry’s pizza’s are probably better than Pizza S’Press or any of the chains. Frankly Harry owning it would improve their pies.

Maybe to human taste, but these are little folk, and Toot made it clear to Harry that Za'Gard weren't happy with the frozen stuff he was providing them with.

Perhaps there is a type of Winter Fae that is especially adapted to making dough?

Or perhaps the Za Guard abducted  the Pillsbury Doughboy (Popp’in fresh)from the Never Never and he is imprisoned in Castle Dresden making endless fresh pizza bases.

Actually the latter makes sense, certainly to Toot, and Popp might willingly join the Za Guard as it’s first infantry member, he is a doughboy after all, and cannot fly.

He would of course be able to make doughnuts as well, to provide the Za_Guard with a properly rounded meal. The perfect match for the Za Guard, Culinary Specialist Doughboy

With the power to make infinite amounts of fresh dough instantly from basic ingredients and insane baking skills Doughboy would also be essential to Harry’s Business Plan.

Jim, if this is brought to your attention I waive all legal claim to the idea and concept and you are wholly free to use it, and you should be able to use “Doughboy”, not only is it not the characters official name,(created 1965) but has been a slang term amongst the infantry since the American Civil War, avoiding the problem you had with the Phobophages.

I rather like the idea of Harry bothered by Toot into reviewing the troops as a chore doing a double take on seeing Culinary Specialist Doughboy for the first time having eaten his baked goods for months.
