Seems like a fun little tip o' the hat. Not like naming your werewolf Remus Lupin or anything.
I'm not a hero. I'm not a savior. Forget what you know.

I'm just a man whose circumstances went beyond his control.

Yah.

I don't remember HOW many DF books I had read featuring Michael Carpenter, the Christian knight -- but it was more than 1-2, less than all of 'em to date -- when I too did the facepalm.

Yes, I am glad to say I caught that immediately, but there are many things I didn't. Like Harry's spell for lightning candles (something with Bic). Or Eleedee. (And, speaking of Harry Potter, Kreacher. I have problems with how things sound in languages that are not mine).
Missing you, Md

There are many horrible sights in the multiverse. Somehow, though, to a soul attuned to the subtle rhythms of a library, there are few worse sights than a hole where a book ought to be. Someone has stolen a book (Terry Pratchett)
