Everywhere talk about sleep. Makes me tired.
We had dry ice today at work. LOL. Funny how everybody went by and put water on it to create a witch cauldron feeling. And you can shoot little ice cubes across the tables. Not that anybody did that. Nooooo.  ;)

And by the way. Good news. I am vaccinated against COVID-19 now. Got my second shot on Friday.

Maen everyone!

Great about the vaccine!

Dry ice is so fun! When we played tabletop RPG with friends at home, sometimes we ordered ice cream. And some of the providers included small pieces of dry ice to keep the ice cream cold while delivered, so of course we added them to glasses of water and we have our potions! Very fitting for D&D settings.

Also at the university we sometimes received reagents in boxes with dry ice and we loved to drop them on the sink add some water and look at the effect.

Still, the coolest use of dry ice is making a cloud chamber  :)

In most places that sell ice cream they have lots of dry ice, perhaps you can ask for a couple of small pieces for free (or even buy it, I don't think is too expensive)

I live about 3 hours away from civilization. Lol. And ice cream places haven't been that popular when I was growing up in Alexandria. Most of them sold stuff that was quite inferior to what you'd find in a supermarket. From what I heard that changed and there are a few popular ones in Alexandria now. But somehow I don't imagine them having dry ice.

Well, tonight we're having taro stew with fresh beef. (I just googled the name in English, and I laughed for 5 minutes).
This is a traditional Egyptian recipe. Egyptians are divided about Taro. Some love it and some hate it. No middle ground. Lol

I just googled it. I never heard of Taro before.
