I can only picture Butters as a very temporary knight. Hopefully he hands the sword off to someone tough before he gets murdered.

why do you feel that way? given that he has had a short story just about him I don't think that is likely to happen. If i was a betting man butters is a knight to stay... and that he may or may not die.
