« on: October 14, 2017, 11:03:42 PM »
So, I'm currently on "Cold Days", not to far in, and I was wonder, "huh, Harry had sex with Mab... Does anyone ever call the Mab's vagina the Ice Box?"

I would say NO and especially not with her around. Sounds like certain death to me.

Not if they wanted to keep their "appendage" intact.

Since Harry had sex with an elemental force does that make him a nature lover?

Wardenferry,

No, it means Harry really

Yes, that's more like it.

Considering their relative positions in that scene, I would say it was the other way around.

Pretty sure he was on his back, right?

Quick question, was it ever established whether Mab healed him for that ritual or if it all happened in his head? I would lean towards the former, but I have heard the latter argued. Inquiring minds want to know.

I think that I recall Harry having trouble moving and that his cut of Slate's thoughts was clumsy and jagged.

Per their agreement, he was to be healed before he took up the mantle of Winter Knight.

Now, in Cold Days, when he refused Winter law he lost the use of his legs.

Personally I believe that was something Mab slipped into his head, rather than not having healed him.  But the opposite may be the case too.

I wonder if the Mantle is allowing the use of his legs while his normal wizard healing ability is restoring his body.

It is believed that his body was healed as part of his agreement to take the Mantle.

Another tangent, Harry's conversation with Sanya and Toot Toot in the alley after he becomes the winter knight is one of my all time favorites in the books. I get a huge grin every time I read it.
