I realize we're busy, but TWO ENTIRE months of silence?!?!

Right, Outcast Ops: Watchlist will be out next week! So there!  :P

I'll be honest.  I moved from the philippines back to washington state and my writing suffered abysmally.  I'm up to 84k on book 11 of my spineward sectors series.

I wish this place was a lot more active.  But I think that part of the problem here is the people who were active in it drifted away.  And the second portion is that there are more restrictions on jimbutcheronline than there are in other places about directly talking about our books we're working on, we can't post snippets or chapters etc.

Well anyway its great to hear that you're doing good over here!

Done a little bit of writing this year... Not much my goal of writing every day well it fell flat in January...

The most writing I have done this year though is on the chronicle of teh Dresden Filels RPG I play in. We restarted it after a long hiatus. As far as we know, it is one more adventure left... Will be sad when it ends.

Wrote more on the chronicle for the Dresden game. Took a week to finish last weeks session (even got writing cramps wile writing by hand during the session). Now up to almost 68 000 words.  It is worth it though, as it is fun. And the GM awarded 1 extra refresh for the chronicle from the start so my character is slighty more powerful than she should be otherwise...  ;)

Working on a couple of products for a gaming company. One's a novella to tie in to an upcoming product, and the other is an actual product. Neither one of them have huge word counts, but both have their challenges......

I did manage earlier to finish a short story for a writing competition at an annual gaming convention in Gothenburg during easter. Didn't win (as far as I know. Did not attend the closing cermony where they handed out the prices)

Yes, it was a bit rushed as, I started late. But it worked imo. A vigilante getting captured, and then confronted by one of her former teammates who had been turned into an evil vampiress who now tried her best to take over the city.

Edit: turned out that I did "win". Mine was the only entry in the prose-category, so I did get a voucher for 250 SEK at the Sciece Fiction Bookstore in Gothenburg. That will come  in handy.

I wrote another 20k for a new ending/sneak peak chapters for book 12.  So I'm not sure exactly how that lines up but it means book 11 got expanded to as much, potentially, as 161k.

Have to see how it all shakes out.

And I did finish the Dresden Files rpg chronicle, it ended at 100 pages and slightly over 72 300 words if I recall correctly.
