How many books?
« on: October 12, 2015, 07:05:56 PM »
I know that JB has plans (last time I heard) for DF 20 novels plus a BAT finale.

So has anyone heard how many JB has planned for Cinder Spires?

Current deal he sold was for 3, says he has ideas for about 6 if they sell well and he can sell the rest.

In a recent Q&A he confirmed what ITheHellAmFan says but he mentioned they could be 6 or 9.
I don't know how it works. Will story after book 3 be unfinished or it will be finished and book 4 (if it happens) has a new beginning for a new arc story?

That I don't know, but at this point I trust Jim has some sort of plan.

Oh, of course! He knows, it's just me (and other poeple) who doesn't know the plan. I personally hope the current story is finished in book 3. Then, we can begin a new one.

I'd agree with that.  This is such a fascinating world he's built, it would be a shame not to explore as many corners of it as possible.
