What had been previously released was indeed only about half the chapter. I preordered this book some time ago. If I hadn't, reading this chapter would have had me running to Amazon with my money in my hand. . . and we haven't even met the cats yet. This promises to be another fun ride.

Pretty much what OZ said.  Damn if Jim doesn't know how to write an action scene, regardless of the series.
