Hardly anyone is bidding on the home made candies...  those are so yummy!  (I already bought mine at the bake sale earlier this month!)

Actually, they really do travel well.  Plus they have a great shelf life, which is why they did them like that in the Tudor era, it was often the only way to get lemons and oranges all the way up to England without them going bad!  (The peels are my favorite bit.  The gingered almonds are my second favorite.)
